Dekoni AudioElite Earpads for Audeze LCD Series Headphones (Elite Hybrid)

The stock PU leather pads on my modified m1060c had started to deteriorate so I decided to try and find some replacement pads. I had read that a lot of people liked to mod the m1060c with the Audeze Vegan Pads, which are no longer produced, but the Dekoni LCD pads were the next best design and a lot cheaper. The choice suede is a faux suede option that seems very similar to the faux microsuede used in the vegan pads.I'm very satisfied with the comfort of these pads. The memory foam used is a lot better quality than the foam that came in the stock pads and feels really comfortable for long hours of listening. They are also soft enough to seal around my glasses even with thicker acetate temples. The faux suede is extremely comfortable and plush to the touch. They feel as soft as velour style pads, but have similar sound characteristics to leather or PU pads. One of the issues with the original pads were that they got hot, sweaty, and uncomfortable with extended use, but these breathe a lot better. The trade off in sound quality is a very small loss of bass extension. It is not as much of a loss as switching to velour or fenestrated pads, but it seems to me that the sound has lost a small amount of warmth.The fitment for the m1060c is near perfect, with just a mm or two of extra diameter. This is not an issue as long as you center them properly when installing. There will be a tiny lip overhanging on the pads, but it is barely noticeable. The inner ear hole seems like it may be slightly smaller in width, based on a visual comparison, but it is still quite large and my oversized ears fit comfortably. The adhesive seems to be good quality and sticks well even though I had to rip one of the pads off when I didn't align it properly. I wish they had a different method of pad attachment, but that's how the stock ones and LCD pads are attached too.Overall, if you're looking for an upgraded replacement pad for your m1060 or m1060c these are a great option. If you want to retain a sound signature closer to the stock pads, you might want to get them in PU leather or sheepskin, but the comfort tradeoff for suede is worth it in my opinion and in no way do they ruin the sound.

I have the Audeze LCD-XC, which happens to share the same ear cup size as other headphones by Audeze. The stock pads are nice, but they definitely get warm as the LCD-XC is quite heavy. And over a bit of time, the leather tends to flake and fall apart.I have upgraded the headband to the carbon fiber one to reduce the weight a bit, but the stock ear pads still get warm. And since it was just starting to split by the adhesive area near the cups, I decided to change them out to the Dekoni fenestrated ear pads.Great news! It doesn’t get as hot around the ears, and it is significantly more comfortable and plush. Best of all, it did not change the sound signature of the headphones by much, if at all.It was very easy to remove the old cups (they can get destroyed when removing them as Audeze decided to use double stick adhesive tape to apply the ear pad, as opposed to something more elegant like the Meze Empyrean magnetic ear pads.) Attaching the new Dekoni ear pad was very straightforward by applying one side of the double stick tape to the ear pad, and removing the adhesive cover strip on the other side and attach the ear pad to the ear cups. Press hard all around the padded area for the adhesive to take hold, and you’re done.I love these ear pads and now I can wear my Audeze LCD-XC for longer periods at a time.Great replacement ear pads.

I loved AUDEZE’s stock leather-free velour ear pads, but they wore out after using of about 6 years. Stock ones were quite durable overall, but the pads’ layer which was attached on the unit started to peel off.So I came to buy these ones to replace stock ones. I just opened the box and set them on my lcd2, so I cannot say about the durability, but they seem quite sturdier than stock ones. They are as comfortable as the older ones. They are kind of plump than stock ones. I think stock ones are filled with regular sponge but these ones are filled with kind of memory foam, which gives more secureness when I wear them.As you know, they are made from at least 3 materials, which are Sheepskin, Fenstrated Sheepskin and Velour. The part sits around my ears are made from velour which give more comfortable feeling than leather to me.I am not sensitive about the sound, but I think sound quality is good, too.I guess that the part which is attached on the unit is different kind of leather because its texture is little bit different from that of other part which was made from sheepskin. I wish this part stay long because that was the part which made problem in stock pads.

I bought these pads because the pads that came with the Monolith M1060 headphones were starting to fall apart after more than 5 years. Other replacement pads that I had bought for other headphones tended to change the sound quite a bit, usually for the worse, but these pads sound really good. Nice and clear, bass sounds great, not boomy or muffled. I'm very happy with my purchase. They are just a tad bigger but the fit is close enough that you won't really notice.

These are excellent replacement pads for my LCD-2C's. The only problem I have with these is that since they are so stiff due to using memory foam, they will tilt the suspension strap slightly backwards causing the metal headband to make contact with my head. I am unsure if these just need a crazy amount of break-in, or my head is just shaped weird. An excellent purchase othewise.

I recently bought a pair of Audeze LCD-X (2021 version) and needed a slightly deeper ear pad to accommodate my ears.Not only did these pads do that and feel great, but they also magically improved the imaging tremendously!Listening to Moanin’ by Art Blakey on Apple Music in 24/192 with Atmos enabled, I actually thought I forgot to turn off my speakers and was hearing that instead of the headphones. But no, the LCD-X just disappeared when listening.The pads are significantly more comfortable and they fit my ears well. But the added improvement in imaging makes them worth the price alone.

Les anneaux sont fournis neufs sous blisters avec les coussinets, sauf que ça demande de la précision pour les mettre et il n'y aucun repère visuel facile.J'ai demandé au vendeur un tutoriel vidéo, il m'a renvoyé sur Youtube alors qu'il aurait mieux fait de le mettre dans sa fiche article.Je n'ai pas obtenu plus de réponse de sa part donc, je diminue la note.Bon j'ai réussi à les monter mais ça m'a demandé beaucoup de travail surtout qu'il m'a fallu nettoyer la colle de l'ancien coussinet...Ce n'est pas très agréable à faire, pour un article soit disant d'Elite... peut faire beaucoup mieux que ça en 2023 !J'estime que quand on vend un produit d'Elite, on doit préparer le travail pour les clients pour leur confort.Si les nouveaux anneaux étaient déjà prémontés sur les coussinets, on aurait plus qu'à apposer sur le casque après nettoyage, ça aurait eu un gain de temps non négligeable !!Bon j'espère que ce produit va durer longtemps maintenant que c'est monté car ça fait déjà 2 fois que je les change... mais les 2 premières m'ont été offerts par le support Audeze et c'était pas du Velours.

Diese Ohrpolster sind wirklich empfehlenswert als Ersatz für ausgelutschte Originalpolster.Bei meinen Audeze LCD-2 von 2014 war zwar das Leder der Polster noch gut, aber der Schaumstoff war so weich geworden, dass die Kopfhörer viel zu nahe an die Ohren gedrückt wurden. Das ändert natürlich die Klangcharakteristik, weshalb es jetzt an der Zeit für neue Polster war.Was soll ich sagen, die Dekoni sind wirklich empfehlenswert. Die Qualität ist würde ich behaupten "wie original". Allerdings gefällt mir die Idee mit dem gelochten Leder sehr gut, weil es einen Druckausgleich gibt und gleichzeitig den Klang noch ein bisschen angenehmer macht durch Diffusion/Absorption.Da ich öfters gelesen habe, die Maße der Ohröffnungwürden nicht mit dem Original übereinstimmen: in der Breite ist die Öffnung exakt gleich, in der Höhe ist sie ca. 0,8 mm kleiner. Das finde ich absolut im Rahmen und stört mich nicht.

Köpte dessa efter att ha konstaterat att det skulle bli mycket dyrare att köpa via Audeze i USA.Mycket snabb leverans från Amazon (med Prime)Monteringen på mina LCD-XC var ganska problemfri, när jag väl fått bort gamla limrester från original tejpen. Konstaterade att Audezes instruktionsvideo för byte även visar ett par halvmåneformade extrakuddar som monteras på varje sida av elementen. Dessa fanns inte med i Dekonis paket. Kan det vara en senare förbättring från Audezes sida?Dekonis kuddar känns mycket mjukare och eventuelt lite svalare.Kvalitetmässigt ligger dom nära originalet. Sömmarna är kanske lite ojämnare, men inget som stör.Den absolut största fördelen för mig var att jag upptäckte att innerdiametern var lite större, vilket gjorde att ett problem med en lite klämd örsnibb helt försvunnit.Jag kunde inte märka någon skillnad i ljudbilden. Om något kanske lite bättre.
