A lot of fun
I read this with my 11 year old and she absolutely loved it. The ability to control the story and then go back and re-read the portions she didn't choose the last time was like reading this story all over again. A fun way to spend a few hours with my daughter over bedtime stories for a few nights.

Fun story like from when I was a kid
It’s been a while since I’ve read a “choose your own adventure book,” and it was fun to read this with my son. When we first tried reading it (on the laptop), the links didn’t seem to sync right. I almost gave up but then realized that they work alright on the phone. My son enjoyed reading a book in second person POV (not something he usually encounters), but I think it would have felt more natural in present tense instead of past. It’s a little awkward when you’re reading about things that happened in the past but then have to make a decision for the future. But overall, it’s a fun adventure for middle grade readers.

Grimvalley Manor is a spooky ride!
This book had just the right amount of creepiness and excitement. It was fun getting to choose how the story plays out, and the eerie atmosphere of the manor keeps things interesting. A great pick if you’re in the mood for a mystery where every decision matters.

Suspensful!
I really love and hate these books - it glue you to your sofa until you finish them! It's crazy... I was petrified and horrified - great read, can recommend!

Intriguing...
The interactive story works perfectly as an e-book because when it comes time to choose, you click the link to move forward. I wouldn't suggest a physical copy because of the back-and-forth finding the right chapter. I love the story, but a couple of my choice chapters just ended without a choice, and, at first, I thought that was supposed to be the end for the choices I made. However, it felt like a cliffhanger and not an ending, but continuing to the following chapter does not flow.

Chilling Adventure
I just finished reading "The Mystery of of Grimvalley Manor" by Elisa Tan. The main character is joined by twins Julia and Judith on a spooky adventure through the manor. This book was a very quick read that i believe would be wonderful if more of the story was written. The format allows for readers to choose different choices and in the process different outcomes. I'm not a fan of that format so i just read the book from start to finish and by doing so didn't get the best experience if i would have "jumped" from one choice to the next.

Creative Concept with Lots of Twists and turns
I liked the concept and twists of “The Mystery of Grimvalley Manor” by Elisa Tan. The writing flowed easily. I think this might be an exciting adventure for kids to make their own choices. I’m not sure about the setup, however. There were times where the choices didn’t make sense to me, with two different versions on the page. I was thankful that I made it to the end.

Creative and Fun!
The book reminds me of all the old choose your own journey books! The interactive format makes it feel like you’re part of the story, with each decision leading you deeper into the mysteries of the manor. I loved that you can explore different paths and outcomes. Perfect for young readers who enjoy a good mystery and love having control over the story!

Creative!
Loved interactive books when I was younger- so nice to see this back! Exciting story line(s) and the book even comes with maps of the manor. Nicely done.

My kid loved it!
I got the book for my preteen son, and in his words, Grimvalley Manor is “so cool and creepy!” He loved the spooky twists, solving the puzzles, and figuring out the mysteries. He’s already excited to read it again to explore the different endings!
