Great product. Don't buy a cheaper version without the home button. This is so much easier to install.

After putting the iPad back together found out lock button did not work. Plugged old screen back on and it functions normal.

I've replaced many screens in my time. I had purchased a cracked ipad to fix for a friend. The clip to connect the digitizer to the board was applied gently to get that "click" of it snapping into place. Once I had everything back together (prior to the final seal), I tested it. The digitizer didn't respond to any touch. When I went back to investigate, I gently removed the clip only to find out that it pulled tiny clips from the connection on the logic board. Very sad. The damaged iPad was now broken beyond repair. I purchased a second iPad. Same process, even more gentle this time. When I put it all together to test, it is good practice to hold an app as if you're going to remove it and drag the app all over the screen. There were four dead spots where the app would "leave" my finger and go back to this spot. Very disappointed in my purchase.

I purchased this product again. The previous cover glass was not clean, and the new one that I received has a big bulb in the middle of the cover glass.
