We have three dogs…… ridiculous, I know but we love them although one of the biggest challenges is in walking them in the morning and a night whilst trying to juggle a flashlight, even with one of them on a waist dog leash it’s hard but this hat is a game changer for us and I am loving it so much. My husband walks them every morning and because we live in the south we have to contend with snakes and coyotes so a light is necessary and this hat is wonderful as it gives him a free hand now making it safer and easier to walk the dogs. It's perfect. It’s also super warm and cozy and so easy to charge, the light it gives off works well enough to give you a few feet of light while walking in the dark.

Just as my title says, this beanie is very warm as it has a liner inside it for an extra layer on your head. I wore this outside during some 16 degree weather recently and my head and ears stayed toasty warm. The light is easy to operate, you just push in on the center button to turn it on, select the brightness level, and turn it off. The light also comes out with just a little push so you can charge it.The only thing I didn't like about this is the brand tag stitched into the side of it. That's just my taste / opinion and I had to cut it out carefully to remove it.

First the pluses: This hat’s knit material is extremely soft, thick and warm. On top of that (or rather underneath!) it’s got an additional even softer plush lining layer that makes the hat even warmer. This is probably the warmest winter knit hat I own. It also fits well, both when worn above or partially covering the ears and when pulled down to fully cover your ears. That is important because the light stays usable either way you wear the cap. The light itself is strong and has three settings. I found it immediately useful the first time I put it on when I went to walk my dog late at night. The light turns on easily with a soft touch of even a heavily gloved hand. And it’s bright, not only did the light nicely illuminate our path but, wearing this hat left both hands free, so instead of having to hold a flashlight in one hand and struggle to open a thin plastic doggie poop bag one handed I could use both hands and see clearly.The one negative is the charging. Millions of devices charge with standard cables or USB ports but this hat requires you to remove a rubber cap which exposes a bare circuit board which has to be pushed into the female end of a USB charging port. Surely they could have used a standard metal covered male USB plug instead of this. It feels awkward and flimsy and easily breakable, even if I don’t soon lose the tiny plastic cap. I took off a full star for the charging method.

The media could not be loaded. This is the second LED beanie that I own, and the first by YunTuo. My other one is NOT fleece lined, and, my goodness, what an incredible difference the fleece in this beanie makes on bitterly cold mornings. I have worn this YunTuo beanie all day, each day, for over a week, and it's still glowing brightly each time I've needed the light, and super comfortable.So far, I have used the LED light for about an hour a day, and I'm still on my first charge. Simply pop the module out of the rubber ring, pull off the cap from the USB tip, and pop it into your closest USB charger. The red light will turn to bright green when fully charged.The LED has a high - medium - low setting, just by clicking the button in the center.I HIGHLY recommend this beanie to anyone who wants a hands free light and a warm head at the same time -- FIVE solid stars from me!

I love this beenie. The knit is thick and great quality. Fleece lined keeps my big head warm. The light has 3 level of brightness and is easy to charge. It goes directly into charging port without need for cable. Easy to remove from beenie for charging, but the connector cap for the light is easy to misplace, so keep it nearby, you'll want it to protect the connector. This is a great hat for anytime you want your hands free. I like it so much, I plan on buying more. Great find.

I got this for my very early morning walk. Being dark and cold this is perfect! Very surprised how well lit the path before me is. Great gift idea.
