Cute Book
Nice book. The paper patterns have to be enlarged (they're made to fit the pages near the end of the book), but they're easy enough to copy by hand and can be made smaller or larger if you prefer.

Woodland Friends projects disappointing
REally looked forward to this book arriving. The cover and illustrations promised much fun. However the patterns are very small and will have to be enlarged and that will be an added expense and a trip to a copying store. I would rather pay more for a book upfront and have ussable patterns. ( Some copy stores make a fuss about copying and enlarging copyrighted material) And the enlargements are too great to be managed on my home computer.

Fun and adorable projects. There's something for everyone!
There are a few craft magazines in England that I desperately wish I could get in the United States more easily, one of them is Mollie Makes. Thankfully they have a series of books that are readily available, and they are all amazing. Mollie Makes Woodland Friends does not disappoint.I absolutely love the new woodland creature trend, this book has plenty of adorable fox patterns but also has plenty of other fuzzy creatures to make in a variety of crafts. Regardless of your crafting skills, there’s something in this book for everyone. Each project has beautiful pictures and very detailed instructions.I was thrilled to discover projects by some crafters I love, like Lupin from Bugs and Fishes and Sophie from What Delilah Did, but I was also excited to discover some new crafters as well. I have added a lot of great new craft blogs to my reading list thanks to this book! There is such an amazing selection of projects in so many different styles, but they all work really well together.

Bummer
This book is misleading. The most interesting craft ideas are actually blurbs about artists who make crafts that you can buy on etsy. Very strange to open up a book where you are expecting to make crafts and are instead encouraged to go buy them. Buyer beware that several projects are knit and several are crocheted. If you do not know how to do one or both, you will be left with only a handful of projects, all of which look so 70s homemade that they look like a joke and not the tongue and cheek kind.

Pretty
This is my first (and only) "Mollie makes..." book; I haven't read the magazine or any other book. I was interested in this one because of the theme. I've read through this book, but haven't crafted anything out of it yet. From what I can tell, this seems to be a book better intended for intermediate to experimented crafters, with a wide range of skills. The book has embroidery, sewing, crochet, knitting and paperworking projects, among a few. I say "intermediate to experimented" because it doesn't explain the basic techniques. As an example, a crochet project will simply detail how to make the item, and not how to make a chain, stitch, etc.The projects themselves are really nice, and the style is fairly consistent throughout. It is a pretty and inspiring book.

Mollie Makes Woodland Friends
Not what I expected. Very basic. Most of the stuff in there is very simplistic. Dont think it will get much use. May pass it on.

Fab
Anything Mollie Makes publishes is fabulous and this book is no exception to the rule. A range of different techniques to try keeps it interesting.
