We often have a friend's 24 month-old come visit, and he loves keys. That was the biggest draw for him with this toy. He wasn't too interested in the animals inside each house, but may like them more when he is older. That said, they keys were hard for him to remove from the backs of the houses, and he definitely will need practice to be able to insert them into the shaped locks. I think this is a fun toy that is probably better suited for a child on the back end of 2 years old (and older), but the colors and characters are cute and I'm sure it will be played with often.

I am very happy with this toy. It is great for my toddler. We have had issues with his fine motor skills and this toy is helping. It is making him take his time and figure things out. It would be a great baby shower gift.
