This keyboard is everything it advertised! They have a new model number that fixes previous minor bugs. The customer service is great. I had a response under 24hr and it helped solve my issues(which was user error).

Not bad, but not perfect
OVERVIEWOverall this is a solid keyboard. The German manufactured Cherry MX switches are great. Make sure to research differences between blue (clicky and loud), brown (just clicky) and clear before choosing which board you buy.As a software developer on my keyboard all day, this board being split, provides comfortable hand/arm positions that I can move slightly during the day to mitigate repetitive motion injuries caused by fatigue on certain muscles/tendons.I could not get the LED lights to work on the slave (right) half of the keyboard for the board they sent me. That said, I never planned on using the lights as I need the keyboard to be wireless.Had their quality control been better, and the lights worked on the right side (master), I would have given this a 4 out of 5 instead of a 3. (note: updating to latest firmware did not resolve it)PROS- Keys feel excellent and tactile, mechanical keyboards are best for fast typers and gamers as they receive keyboard input faster and each key i s a separate signal. membrane keyboards have limits on speed and simultaneous keypresses.- The split feature is great for ergonomics- Comes with a slew of extra keys to really customize the board..- Geek out on custom key layouts, key binding, and macros (a bit tricky to program tho)- Bluetooth feature is great- Keyboard layout is old-school and my fingers know right where to go (programming, the hard ones are always the forward slash, square brackets, parentheses and pipe. Many competitor keyboards get this wrong, I don't want to retain my muscle memory.CONS- Instruction manual leaves out a lot and is hard to follow, you just have to figure some things out.- Keyboard tenting isn't really possible but they do provide feet that can adjust positions a little.- Keyboard needs wrist wrest (sold separately), especially when adjusting with provided feet.- Keyboard I received did not operate LED's on the right side (master), only the left side (slave) would light up.- Keyboard still needs a wired connection between the two halves- When unplugged from computer, don't use the lights, they drain battery fast.- Cannot upgrade firmware on a MAC, use a PC if you got one.- Bluetooth connecting was a bit confusing. Remember to hit PN + 1 after connection too, then unplug and you're set. Also remember to allow time for onboard battery to charge before doing so. Use wired for a couple hours at least (or overnight)..

Wonderful QUIET keyboard with all navigation keys
I'm so glad I ordered this keyboard, Cherry Silent Red option. At the time I ordered this keyboard there were only 8 reviews. Typing really is silent!! And comfortable for typing, and has ALL of the navigation keys (Home, End, PgUp, Pg Down, etc.) Layout almost exactly matches keyboard on my laptop, and the feel and travel of the keys is great. For me, this means almost no adjustment or learning curve. My neck, back, shoulders and arms are doing SO much better with the split keyboard, 2 parts spread a bit wider than my shoulders. The only thing I wish this keyboard could have: Backlighting that shines *through* the top of the keys. This would help a lot when working in a dark room. This is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.I tried 3 other "quiet" keyboards that I could not get used to, and was very disappointed. Here are a few details of my experience with 2 other split keyboards:1. Kinesis Freestyle Edge RGB / Cherry MX Speed Silver.PRO: Backlight does shine through top of keys. Includes all navigation keys. Fantastic padded wrist rest.CONS: Not as quiet or silent as hoped for. Cord connecting the 2 parts of the keyboard is NOT removable, swappable, and SHORT! I had no idea you couldn't switch to a different cable. Deal breaker for me. Expensive2. Royal Kludge RK-S70 Linear Silver Switches, WhitePRO: AffordableCON: NOT quiet, not comfortable to type on. No HOME key and no END key. Deal breaker for me, even though you can use other keystrokes to mimic Home and End.
