I like to learn how to make things so I thought making soap would be fun. This kit came with everything I needed! The burner and pitcher make it easy to melt the soap and keep it at the right temp. The instructions were very clear (including pictures). I also appreciate that it came with 3 different essential oils so I have a choice of scents to try before I buy more. As noted on the instructions, there is a protective coding on the burner so there is a smell the first couple of times you use it as it burns off. Totally fine after

My girls are crazy about doing their own soap so I got this set for them. You are going to get everything you need to make your own soap. I like that the base soap is crafted with natural and organic ingredients. We have very sensitive skin so this is just perfect for our skin. Their creativity will be developed making different kinds of soaps with different colors and scents.

I love this soap kit! I got it for an upcoming birthday and then decided after making, that they would make perfect Christmas gifts this year. The kit comes with everything you need to get started and easy to follow directions. I made a few basic soaps to get started and after seeing how they turned out, was inspired to go out and buy additional “flare.” I bought some orange peel and lavender petals to really spruce them up. There is no limit to what you can do with them. I look forward to getting some new molds next and trying some different waxes but for now, the simple rectangular molds and wax that it comes with, are great.

I use this for mainly candle making. I got bigger one and in this small one I can make samples very quickly. Super easy to clean and it gets warm super fast. It has good metal quality.

My set arrived I'll jumbled into a box with very little foam. The lid was dented as was one of the included boxes of essential oil. This kit comes with a hot plate, a thin metal cup with lid, three dyess and three essential oils. No spoon, or dried flowers as pictured in the ad are included. The hot plate seems to be good quality, note that it does get quite hot underneath and around the surface. It would be best used on something that would not get damaged by heat transfer. The tin Cup for melting the wax is very thin and lightweight and the lid is pretty much useless. The lid just sits on top like a plate would, and it has no handle or anything to remove it. Gloves are also not included in this kit but will most likely be required. The silicone molds were squished into the box and as a result are quite deformed. This is a budget kit and I suspect most of the components will not last other than the hot plate itself. The instructions are okay and describe the basic process for making soap, if you added tips, and some safety guidelines. A Google search was required for me to learn enough to be comfortable using this kit. The silicone mold has to be placed on a hard surface as it is very thin. This is a budget kit and good for people just starting out, or wanting to do a quick craft and make some soaps as a gift or for fun.

Well where to start with this neat little soap kit?Solid heating base, solid metal bowl to hold the soap gel mix. There is a temp knob too so nothing goes nuts and burns.Few scents thrown in, along with coloring bottles. The base soap mix you get isn't enough for the price in my opinion. You're going to make only two batches by my guess with the included molds if that. There could be way more included here.The molds are the weak point and as I already do resin projects , superheated liquids are even less fun to play with when your silicone mold is flimsy and flubbery.The liquid spills out when you try to move it because the walls of the molds are too thin and bend when you try to adjust. Same here for soap, hot soap! to boot. So make sure you have a hard cuttingboard or something underneath and you'll be ok.

What a great package nothing damaged and perfectly packed and it works great. I used it for the first time today and made 5 bars of soap using the soap base that came with the unit and also Christmas themed wax melts. It worked great. I like the quality of the soap base. It heats up very quickly and is stable. The metal pitcher holds a lot of material. The stirring spoon was also very handy and I put alcohol in the little spray bottle and it made all the air bubbles on the soap vanish with a single spritz. Clean up was very easy. Great kit.
