Buy it now!!!!
Well.... what can I say? AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!!! You have to buy this if you are an avid knitter or crocheter. If you have ever made anything from wool you will know that one of the challenges is losing your wool all the time. It rolls away, it gers knotted, it gets dusty, it gets chased by our furry friends! Whilst it is not the end of the world, it certainly is a frustration and can mean hours of time being spent on undoing knots and tangles that could be spent on our beautiful projects. I have been looking for something to fix this problem for a long time. Nothing, and I mean nothing has worked as well as this. You may have realised I'm quite taken with this. It is large enough for a 200g ball comfortably and probably more if you put it on well. The little plastic feet mean it doesn't fall over or slip. It also stays upright on the sofa by my side. Huge bonus as I spend a lot of time in the evening crocheting on the sofa. It is quiet and smooth and you don't even need to pull the yarn. It works so well that it will just come as you are working. All I can say is, whilst this may be considered a first world problem, it is definitely the perfect solution. And it is a bargain! Not only that but you are paying to put this very innovative and creative girl through uni for her physics degree so even better!! Well done you!! You've made a wonderful product and I highly recommend it.

Very well made yarn holder.
I bought this yarn holder/spinner as a Christmas present for my wife who knits constantly. The balls of yarn would often fall to the floor while she was knitting and end up in a tangled mess. This simple little holder helps to dispense the wool as it’s needed by gradually turning on its spindle. The woodwork is fantastic. You can tell it’s been done by someone who cares about the quality of their product. The wood is smooth, varnished and turns on the spindle freely without being too loose. The base is heavy enough to stop it being pulled over and has rubber feet to prevent it slipping.Best of all, I don’t have to spend hours untangling endless balls of wool : )

Best thing I've bought in a long time.
I love this product. Although it hold a 100g ball with ease, I unwind a ball and spin it directly onto the spindle. It runs so smoothly.A tip for those who were hoping for smoother running: take a soft, B grade pencil and rub the graphite all over the inner dowl. It makes a huge difference to how freely the top section spins because of the lubricating effect of the graphite.I have dogs, and dog hair inevitably gets into my yarn if I let it roll about on the floor. I tried keeping the yarn in a bucket but the resulting static electricity attracted dog hair anyway. When I saw this item, I bought it, thinking I'd probably attempt to use it as a template and make something better. I could only think of one improvement, and that was to widen the top disc to stop yard slipping down onto the inner dowl so that larger amounts of yarn can be used. In the end, I made a cardboard circle to go under the yarn and now I can wind 200g balls onto the main spindle. This item is simply brilliant. I'm just hoping it isn't made from rain-forest timber so I can spread the word among my friends, relatives and followers.

Left Me In A Spin
A handy item to use although not as sturdy or weighted as I had envisioned. I unpacked it to find the spinning top piece caught on the base as the spindle had not been installed straight. A little disappointed & was considering returning it when my husband, who is the Mr Fix It, decided to make an alteration & now it spins easily! Apart from the slightly wonky spindle ( I am sure not all are this way???) it is nicely crafted.

Great value for a well made product !
I bought this as I had a bowl to hold my yarn which wasn't suitable for every skein as some just didn't fit nicely and wouldn't unwind smoothly. I bought this assuming it would be a bit of a gimmick due to the price how wrong I was. It's a fantastic piece of kit it rotates smoothly there's no juddering and the yarn unwinds and winds perfectly. It's sturdy and not unpleasant to look at. Its been so useful I've just purchased a second one as a gift.

great well made product
Bought this for my wife, she has a wool winder which makes it into a 100gram ball, this wool holder is fantastic it takes the 100 gram ball with ease and makes using the wool so easy as the ball spins as you use it, before my wife used to have to wind so much off to use and sometimes it use to tangle, not anymore it is silky smooth action, and there is enough room to take another colored ball on top, so if you have a pattern with 2 colors no problem you have both on the same spinner, my wife thinks it is fantastic and a must have for any knitter, or crafter using yarn, great product at a very good price for a quality item

If you think you might need one, you definitely do
I absolutely love this! I’m forever getting annoyed with my wool running away while I’m trying to crochet but I’ve never been keen on a yarn bowl. Figured I’d give this a shot and it does what I need perfectly and looks really nice too… I might have to buy another one for my mum!

Simple idea, but brilliant
Super idea and makes crocheting so much simpler now that the dogs aren't thinking the ball of wool is obviously a toy because it keeps bouncing about on the floor! Now the wool is tidy on the coffee table and the dogs know it's not theirs. Peace reigns in my household. Many thanks.

So toll, dass ich mir wohl einen zweiten kaufen werde
Tut genau was es soll.
