Rated for dimmable CFL and LED loads up to 300W; incandescent and fluorescent up to 600W. 120V, 60Hz, neutral required. The dimmers feature true rocker action, pressing the top to turn on and the bottom to turn off. DH6HD is for use with HomeKit installations and utilizes the Apple TV for scheduling and remote access capabilities. If creating a comprehensive smart home via hub like Samsung SmartThings, Leviton recommends the DZ6HD. If you do not wish to use a hub but still desire voice controls and select third-party device integration, Leviton recommends the DW6HD.

Great home kit implementation
After trying out a half dozen dimmers for home kit use I have discovered, for me at least, that on/off and dimming is not the holy grail. What I wanted was a way to automate the dim level for different times of the day, which I can do with home assistant. What I love about these switches is they are just normal dimmers, on/off with a aux dim setter. Super easy to use in the dark. Lultron versions are a bit hard to navigate when you are not looking directly at them, these are super easy.

Unreliable connection with HomeKit
Connection to Home Kit is erratic at best. Sometimes it’s connected and can be controlled via app or HomeKit. Most of the time, we have to manually turn on/off the lights.
