Weaver Original Non-Adjustable Nylon Horse Halter

I ordered the black with leather. Came solid black. Did not arrive on time. It’s ok but will not order from here again.

Weaver Leather has produced quality products for years and this halter is the same as they have always made them. I couldn’t find a non-adjustable halter at various fleet supply stores in my area and wanted a standard basic halter without all the extra buckles. Amazon had the best price so I ordered for my growing filly who is just days from reaching 4 months old. Estimated maturation is 15 H out of a 15.3 H QH/Morgan mare that is built like a tank, and a 14.2 H QH stud. This gives you an idea of how big this filly is and how she has grown and outgrown her halters quickly. I ordered the diva pink weanling/pony size and I absolutely love the color of this halter! In my opinion, it looks good with her very light and pale buckskin color. She wears it on the tightest hole setting and it is just a tad too large, but the foal size halter she was wearing was getting too small and needed to get out of it. This one could probably could benefit from getting another hole or two punched in. I also ordered a diva pink in the yearling size as well for when she outgrows this size. Photos attached include different angles to see where it fits loose and size of her head and body. Overall pleased with Weaver products. I have purchased many of their items over the years and have not been disappointed.

I have bought a lot of halters, this one seems to run larger than most average size horse halters.Even on the smallest hole my horse can run it off easily. I comeUp to him everyday with one ear off… maybe he if he were human he would be a wear your hat sideways kinda guy.

Really made nice, good value for the money but was too large for our Arabian so we returned it.

I know you are not supposed to leave halters on horses (in my case mules) when turned out, but ICE I want to be able to fetch and secure them with no drama. These halters hold up in all weather, but do stiffen over time. Therefore I replace them priodically. I order the brown color because they blend in with the "scenery" and they are roomy enough to fit over fly masks. Please keep making the brown color - for some reason the are harder to find.

Love this. Found the strap a bit big for a yearling. So punched a few more in the leather. But it works well, the colour is nice, and will break away if my horse needs.
