Great when manoeuvring is more important than size
I have three separate lawns. Even the biggest patch is L shaped with a tree in the middle. The lawns are bounded by fences, borders or plants. There are no spare spaces to walk over and turn the mower around without missing the edge of the lawn. So the ease of manoeuvring is more important than inches.I ahve a human powered 16" wheel type for over a year. I'm reasonably happy with it. I can mow at the break of dawn without waking up anybody else. The wheel is heavy but you never need to lift it. That is, until you turn the wheel mower around. You still don't need to lift it by steering it around. But it seems easier to turn it 180 deg right around to remember where you just mowed. This is adequate even for way overgrown lawns if you ram at the tall weeds. However, it doesn't do anything to soft needle like grass stems and leaves, no matter how tall it is.At 14" inch and mostly plastic except the handles, the base frame, the blade, the motor and the battery, the ease of manoeuvring has no equal. It is indeed like a toy. Although the wheels and body is plastic, it doesn't look like a toy. Hopefully it doesn't look like a small toy from across the road. From public records, I have 3600 sq ft of yard (lot size minus house size). I have slopes with plants and a paved patio so take that into account. One charge can take care of them all with overgrown grass and weeds.Install is easy. There are two screws to fix the handle, and two lock and release mechanism for the folding part of the handle. There is only rear discharge under a flap. I have no clue why you want side discharge when you have to turn around. The grass chips will be left and right all over anyway. The munch attachment plugs the discharge outlet to encourage the grass chips to recirculate into the path of the blade, and encourage the grass chips to spread around the blade area rather than discharged at the rear. The collecting bag is convenient. It's light because of the size. You can put it in and take the full bag out with one hand. Though you need to keep the flap open with the other hand. There is a small plastic hole and flap to indicate whether the bag is full. It's so easy that I don't mind walking more often to the garden waste bin with the bag on one hand. You just lift the battery up by the handle to recharge and drop it in after. There are charging indicators on both the battery and the charger. The foot print is small without the bag and the handle can be folded by releasing the locks. To save space, there is the possibility of hanging it up on the wall, lift it up on a stand or steer it up a ramp.Whenever a gardener with his heavy equipment is working on our street, everybody knows. I doubt if my neighbour is aware that I'm mowing if they are inside their houses. There's enough power and last long enough for me. Is 14" cut length sufficient? In theory, I have to walk around 40% more compared to a 20" mower. That will be significant if I have a 60' by 60' lawn. In practice, I don't have much chance of a long straight path across my lawns. I'm also in need of more exercise. So for the price I'm happy with it.

WORX Great! - well for 5 years it did
Having a fairly small yard, when my gas mower died, I finally decided to take the plunge and get an electric mower. Because outside outlets are in very incovenient spots in my back yard, a cordless was a must. Since this got good reviews, I decided to give it a go. I've used it 3x now and here are my impressions:1) Assembly - was a snap except for the toggle bolts you use to connect the two pieces of the handle together. A close up picture would have helped enormously. Obviously I did figure it out but it prolonged the process needlessly.2) Performance - is terrific! Haven't found anything it won't cut. And starting it is so easy and it runs so quietly! So much better than having to prime the gas and break my arm/shoulder trying to pull a starter.3) Length of a charge - I got 2 and half mowings out of my first charge. I just went out to mow for the 3rd time; the battery was showing 2 bars (out of 3) so I thought I should be able to get a 3rd mowing from the charge; I was wrong. I was about 2/3 done and the battery dropped to 1 bar and performance dropped off dramatically, eventually stopping all together even though it was still showing 1 bar. I took a chance and came in and charged it for about a half hour, hoping it wouldn't mess up the charge-ability (if there is such a word) in the future, but I really needed to get the lawn done today and it was getting dark. That half hour was enough for me to finish the job.It is very lightweight and easy to push. The drawback to that is that if you don't have a perfectly flat lawn (and I don't), it bounces over the bumps sometimes causing you to skip over areas of the lawn. And if you use the grass catcher and it gets heavy, then it becomes so heavy in the back, that the front end gets pulled up (rather like a seesaw). This is not a huge problem, just something to be paid attention to.All in all, so far, I'm thrilled with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone.Update - 8/11/2017This has been a great little lawn mower for me the past 5 years. Was still using the original battery up until this year; it still works but was only holding the charge for maybe 15 minutes. Well I got 5 years out of it, I thought that was pretty good so I bought a new battery. When it came, it looked like it was fully charged but nothing happened when I tried using it so I charged it at which point it worked great, just like my old battery when it was new. Finally however, it started to fail and it was time to re-charge and now nothing but problems. As soon as I plug the charger in, it goes red but then goes green a couple of minutes later which would indicate it was fully charged, but c'mon, no way after just a few minutes. And of course if I try putting it in the mower, its dead. I had to borrow my neighbor's mower to cut my grass while I work this out. I bought a new charger: same problem. I've been reading on how the Worx batteries are a crap shoot so maybe I was just really lucky with my first battery. I'm going to try reaching out to Worx about this but I really don't have the time cause the grass is still growing so I may have to just bite the bullet and buy a new mower but it probably won't be a Worx.

I bought a worx lawn mower about 2 years ago. l like that they are electric and l also think the worx lawn mowers are great to handle , you do not have to push the lawn mower hard, and it glides over the grass. The only negative thing l have with the lawn mower is when something happens with it, no lawn mower repair shop would take them as they have a hard time getting parts. Other than that l love the worx lawn mower and would continue buying it. And would definately tell family and friends about the worx lawn mower. It has made
