So worth the small price!
I was skeptical at first, but it is easy to use, and works great for all the excess zucchini from my garden. My friends are finding all kinds of recipes to use for these fun "zoodles".

It Actually Works!
First off, these handheld spiralizers are definitely not going to be as accurate as a huge countertop model that have a hand crank. There is going to be trial and error and a learning curve to using this until you get your method down, you'll end up with a lot of crescent moon shaped zoodles. Also, if it gets clogged, use caution! These are very very very sharp blades! It does not come with a cleaning brush and this spiralizer can and will take chunks of fingers! Do not let children operate this! That being said, it's simple to use and the blades are sharp and it does work very well, I was pleasantly surprised. This is easy to clean and don't have a ton of parts to wash unlike a countertop model. If you live in a place that doesn't have a ton of counter space this will work for you.Noodle sizes are roughly angel hair thickness, spaghetti thickness and the other is roughly fettuccine thickness so they are decent sized noodles.Being a manual spiralizer, this will definitely give you an arm workout, slow constant twisting is the key so that your noodles don't end up macaroni size.A tip, If you are want them to last more than a couple of days in the fridge or want to freeze the noodles, dry the noodles as much as possible with paper towels, get as much water out as possible, then put your noodles into a vacuum bag, I use reusable sous vide vacuum bags. I get a week in the refrigerator after vacuum sealing them and when you get the water out and freeze them in a vacuum bag they won't turn mushy when you cook them or get rotten in the fridge. I made smaller bite size noodles in the photo so that they are easier to work with for freezing.
