JuraCLEARYL Water-Filter Cartridge, White

We have a Jura espresso maker and it is a work horse in our kitchen. There are 5 people in our household and they ALL drink coffee. This machine sees more use than anything else in our kitchen. We have had it for 8 years and its still going strong. I have tried some less expensive knock off water filters and they didn't work. In an effort to save a few bucks, I ended up wasting my money. These aren't cheap but they work every single time. If you can afford a Jura, then you need to spend the money to keep it working well.

I've used my Jura coffee machine for seven years now and have only sent the machine back to the factory for service 4 times. The first two times, it was a bad circuit board and it was within the 3 year (I think) warranty period. The last two times, I've paid $$$ because I either cheaped out and tried to avoid the ridiculously expensive cleaning tablets, or set the replacement of water filter cartridge for softer water than the tap water around here (Dallas, TX) actually is. Bite the bullet and assume your tap water is full of minerals and extremely hard water, because it probably is. If you don't, the heating chamber will scale over, and you'll be shipping the machine back for service.

I've had my Jura-Capresso Automatic for 2.5 years now and I have always loved it. I also highly recommend the maintenance tune-up offered by Jura Customer Service, they are fantastic and it is well worth it! As for this filter system, I wish they would come out with a residential model for filtering water for drinking purposes, this one seems to work so well for minerals and chlorine that I'm sure with a little work it could be modified for a home water system. I've always had each filter work right out of the package, never any leaks, issues with water taste (when using hot water for tea from my system), and it provides an even flow when using the steam feature as well. It would be nice to see a bundled package offering to help us all save a few dollars when buying in bulk (a 5 pack maybe?).

This is the brand name filter. It is the best price I’ve been able to find. Delivery is fast.

My existing filter finally notified me that it needed replacing. After some searching around for the right filter, I ordered this one. As others have noted, it's expensive but it definitely fits my machine and (based on how long the last one lasted) should last a long time.Installed it quickly and at same time cleaned the machine with special tablet.It's now working fine and back to producing great tasting espressos.

Completely wrong product. Even though it says it fits S9. The top of filters have nothing for the Jura to attach to. It slides off. I ordered 2 of these & can't use them. If you look at my orders I had to order another 2 filters that fortunately do work.S9 should be removed from this dealers list. In small letters it says S9 with black "simething." Not sure exactly what it did say. I reread after they were not going to work at all. Very disappointing. Also, it helps to know what I've ordered repeatedly for filters. You sell so many products, it's very confusing. Once the packaging is gone it's a guess. Thank you.

I tried the 'go online and learn how to open it up and clean it out, to re-purpose and save money' thing and it was a disaster. My fabulous coffee maker totally knows that I'm trying to put a used one back in and is offended and does not like it at all! It refuses to let me tarnish it's goodness with a re-purposed filter. So I have to buy these, and they work, and I can have them delivered, so I suppose I should rate them 5-stars, but I'm still sad that I HAVE to buy them and they are so expensive!
