Fire is good
Fired up really well and got going really quite quickly. It is basically a big tomato tin with draft holes in. Be aware that the initial burn rips the paint of and can swirl around a fair bit, and of course it makes sense to stand on some old bricks or something similar to save the ground. Simple and effective.

Best fire bin ever even without legs
The fact that this fire bin was recycled is a good enough reason to buy, however there are a few reasons you should buy these bins and one of them is, I can even use it when its windy because the Bin is so tall I burn my rubbish as usual but it only takes up half the room so I don't get bit flying up everywhere. It is a very sturdy material but light enough for little old me to pick up and move about.I took heed from a lovely chap on here who gave a review about drilling a few more holes in the bottom but that is all you do need and for the price I am over the Moon with it because the last bugger I bought for forty odd quid died on me after one season but this Bin is fantastic and like it says, recycle is good! As an after thought you may want to place a few bricks or breeze blocks under it so the air circulates better! All in all a great product at a great price!

Where's the fire?
Great size, very strong, solid construction throughout, looks great when the paint has burned off as well. I feel that the only negative to date is that it can be very awkward to light the initial fire due to its height. This is not a problem that can't be overcome, but it would be frustrating for those with any kind of limitation in their physical being, and I also feel that it would benefit from more holes for the intake of air. The four holes are not enough and this makes the rate of burn slower and the initial lighting more difficult!Having said that it is great when it is going, and big enough to cope with large loads and I am sure that it will last for years. A great incinerator, I would both recommend and re-purchase without a second thought.

I LOVE IT
First of all, the bin looks much bigger and better than it does in the photo, surprisingly good! The bin is originally used to transport tomatoes, this thing is huge and perfect for an incinerator. The bottom of the bin has 4 holes positioned 2 low and 2 higher, to ensure good oxygen flow to the fire within.Due to the crappy recycling scheme here in england, I have decided to start burning boxes and magazines etc instead of waiting for the dustbin men to take the overflown bin.I tested the bin with a huge pile of recycling at the ready, a large assortment of cardboard boxes, thick cardboard tubes and many wooden pieces of furniture...I placed the bin up off from the ground using 4 bricks, and placed two bricks inside the bin to make sure it doesn't fall over, I started the fire with a fire starting block and placed it at the bottom of the bin and lit it with a piece of paper. One thing to understand is that, to get a good fire going you don't just throw everything in and then chuck a match in, no, you only do this if you are using petrol which we wont be doing. You must assort the pieces to be burned into structures within the bin, to make sure oxygen can flow freely around the burning pieces, otherwise the fire will die in this shape bin. When the fire is up and running, make sure to unblock any of the oxygen holes which may have been blocked by ash, this will help the fire greatly. If you do it properly you will soon have a fire towering out as tall as yourself. This is the perfect fire bin and I would suggest anyone to buy this who needs to get rid of sensible things of clean and easy manner!5 stars!!

The best value large brazier
Bought this for burning twigs and branches that are too small or twisted to go through the shredder. When I prune my hawthorn trees I get a lot of material like this.Smaller braziers, based on dustbins, can get top-heavy and become unstable if you put a lot in them, so I wanted a bigger bin. These bins are made from industrial juice drums, and are the size of an oil drum, which allows a good load of cuttings to be added. The steel is thick enough that it should last a few years. The four holes drilled in the sides provide enough air for a clean burn (it is important to let material dry well before burning, to avoid smoke). I get it started with some well-dried kindling and a supermarket firelighter block, and I can burn all my cuttings in one day’s burning with no difficulty. If there is any drawback, it is that the bin is too tall for me to easily see over the side to check the burn: popping your head over the side is a good way to lose your eyebrows, or worse! Not a big issue - I can stand on something like a sawn log to increase my height a bit.

Great for burning garden waste
Lets not overcomplicate things here, its a metal barrell with some holes in, however it's a far better option than the "garden incinerators" that are made from tin foil that you most commonly find. Used for the first time and im so impressed with the strength of the barrell and it's ability to burn through a huge pile of garden waste in no time. Yes the exterior of the paint burnt off on first use and this is to be expected. Afterall it is being repurposed from its original use. After use I've stored in the dry in order to give it some longevity as if left exposed to the elements it will rust and rot over time, so sensible storage will make it last longer. For the price, there is no better option for a garden incinerator.

Last burn tomorrow after 10 years.
Needs a lot of holes in it, i also put 45° slots in it to create a nice cyclone. Hammered in the lower part of the slot so rain didnt run in while not in use. The battle with nature is now won, but this did a lot of the work

Its in the can...
Does exactly what it says on the tin, Ideal for burning rubbish, [paper/ small household stuff/garden rubbish] lower sides and bottom have holes drilled for air intake, Its a 2nd hand, recycled steel drum, [approx. 40 gal] far thicker steel than the burners you can buy from your DIYer, lasts for years and ''yes, obviously, when you burn stuff in it the paint burns off and then it doesn't look very pretty'' but, it still does the job perfectly... item delivered in a large Thick cardboard box obviously to minimize damage in transit. 1st class service from the supplier too...
