To be clear, "collectible cards," not a CCG.
OK, the headline's probably going to be obvious if you're a fan of this - apparently online - game. I picked up a review copy more as a "well, let's see what other CCGs are doing" (and just curiosity.)As far as I can tell, these have no impact in the video/mobile game. At least digging around on the site I didn't see anything about them. So these are apparently just "these are the character!" cards. Each pack comes with four cards. One very thick (eyeballing I'd say .33-.5mm) card with some gold outlining on the figure and three other cards, with backs that are orange, blue or green (blue being the most common in the packs I opened.)Of the packs I opened - and I'm assuming you're just trying to get your favourite character to show off - I ended up with three orange backed cards, all the exact same (Pela, I'm assuming a name, same pose, same artwork, "SSR-017" if that means anything to the fans.) The three green ones were *also* the exact same of this "Seele" character - same number, chibi-ish art, pose, etc. (qr-020, again.) Fortunately, in the few packs I'd opened to now, all but one of the the thick (I'm going to call them showcase) cards (one duplicate) and blue backed cards were unique. And you don't always get the Sela/Pela cards - I did open at least one pack without either of that - I"m assuming "rarity" going by card back.Pure assumption on that since I can't *read* the things and there's not a lot of info online on these. This also comes with a gold colored "coin" with character art on it.So since I can't speak to the series, I'll talk about the cards themselves. As someone who's been looking at (and kind of backing off of, thanks to quality and handling of the IP) MTG cards (actual card *game,*) where the card quality has been getting worse with printing and cutting issues, the cards feeling *gritty* and cheap even as the price goes up, these are nicely printed. THe artwork (typical anime artwork) seems represented very well, good color, there didn't seem to be any drop in quality even on the (I'm assuming massively common, since I got so many of the same ones) repeated cards. Edges were cut well, no apparent drags or dull blades used (... yes, this is an issue on $250-300 MTG boxes and secret lairs,) or curling of any sort.*As cards,* these are very nice. Given the box was listed as $30 (rounded) and the number of packs inside, the packs themselves can't go for too much - and yet these are much, much higher quality than much more expensive products out there (again, M:TG.) I'd actually call these equivalent - a (single) MTG booster pack runs about $5 (for now) and (typically) contains 15 cards. Ignoring the thicker "showcase" cards (in every pack,) you'd get *about* as many for what I'm assuming is the same price in five packs... with much better quality. If these *were* CCG playing cards, I'd feel confident they'd survive a while unsleeved (but I'd likely sleeve them anyway.)In short, other than naming leading me to think this was a CCG instead of just - I'm going to call them "collectible character cards," as they appear to be - this is a fairly low cost, nice quality set of cards. If you're into this game/series, these'll probably last.Just hope you like Sela or Peele, because you'll apparently see them a *lot.*

Absolutely Incredible Honkai Star Rail Cards!
This box arrived fully sealed in almost mint condition. The very first pack I pulled had a legendary. The four cards were 2 rares, 1 holo SR, 1 holo LGR. The cards were extremely cleanly printed and great quality. The box also came with a bonus coin. I'm buying another case.

Nice cards for Manga fans
To be completely honest, I'm not sure what game or series these actually go to. I got them because I thought they looked cool, and they do. They are very well made cards. I would say they're better quality than MTG, but that's just my opinion. The packaging is nice. I almost regret opening them up at all and not just keeping them boxed up as potentially collectable down the line.
