BluecoatAmerican Gin, 70 cl

Recommended by a colleague from PA and with a black Friday deal, why not!Upon opening, the base grain spirit packs a punch not unlike a cheaper brand vodka that has decided to put a tie on and mend their ways, yet is still a delinquent at heart. Thankfully, when mixed as a GnT, the unrefined bouquet is hidden for a smooth drinking experience....so smooth as to be bland and uninspiring.Thr label makes mention of "organic botanicals" but as this is an American product, it is less than clear if it means "free range/happy plants" or its a fancy way of saying "we chucked in some growing things"....either way, there is very very little in the way of flavour other than what the drinker adds.Bland and uninspiring.

Georgeous & beautiful deep blue bottle, this gin was given as a gift for a 4th July birthday which also celebrates American Independence. The recipient loved it, very happy with purchase. Amazon is brilliant for stocking this gin as I couldn't find it anywhere else which made it all that more special.

An excellent gin with clear, crisp flavours. Citrus, pine and juniper on the nose with a lovely botanical flavour on the palate. You will find a flavour of Sherbet Lemon coming through and pairs perfectly with a slice of orange.A highly recommended gin and I will certainly always have a bottle of Bluecoat in!

Delicious, strong and dangerously smooth. Shame to mix it with tonic and certainly doesn’t need any of these nonsense fruit garnishes that people seem to insist on! Similar to and considerably cheaper than Herno Juniper cask. Not quite as good though..

Reallllly good gin, bought 4, as gifts and 1 one for, easy to drink, everyone loved it! Great gift!
