As others have mentions recently, the current product as of June 2020 is not usable. The SO-239 threads are far out of tolerance and any number of different styles of PL-259 connectors I have will not thread on, not event the 1st thread. Thinking the problem might be plating applied over the correct thread, I tried to use a die to cut the threads to spec but there is far too much material to remove for the die to work properly without excessive force on the die. I attached pictures of my initial attempt to use a die, it shows how much material was removed in the first few threads until the die taper ran out and extreme force became necessary and I stopped.Further examination shows these are not 24 TPI, more like 25 or 26, maybe metric?

The NMO thread count appears to be close to correct and will usually work. The SO-239 female portion is mis-threaded or molded and is not the customary 5/8" by 24 tpi thread count we use here in the radio world. While the PL-259 will appear to screw on, the mismatched threading prevents the 259 from screwing all of the way down and seating the center pin. This item is junk and should be avoided.

The NMO portion of these adapters is ok, but- the SO-239 connector was manufactured incorrectly. You cannot screw on the mating PL-259 on to the SO-239 because the outside threads on the SO-239 are wrong rendering it useless.

You cannot screw on the mating PL-259 on to the SO-239 because the outside threads on the SO-239 are cut to the wrong specification making the adapters totally useless. Don't buy these under any circumstances because they will not work. These need to be taken off the Amazon website. These things ar4e as useless as a Sky Hook!

Seems to be well manufactured and I like the dual-color option as well. Fit nicely on both the NMO mag-mount antenna base, as well as on top of the ground-plane kit, as shown on the attached pictures. So it is 5-Stars for me! :)

Esay to use when you change mobile antennas. Well made and reasonable priced it should be in your Junk box with the reset of your tools and cable supplies. Highly recommended the product and the seller.

SO-239 side has wrong threads and will not accept a SO-239 fitting.

I use these everyday on my vehicles and one of those heavy-duty msj magnet mounts that have the three gigantic magnets. I've not had any issues with either my screwdriver antenna or a VHF magount
