I really like this 20 inch hardside carry on luggage. The 4 wheels roll smoothly and seem durable. The interior of both sides provide ample room and security for my items. The inside pocket for the external USB charger is a nice feature, although I don't know if airlines allow a battery pack. The built in TSA approved luggage lock is a great feature. I look forward to using this luggage.

I travel frequently and due to the use and abuse of luggage don’t want to invest a lot of money. This suitcase does the trick. Plenty of room for a quick trip. Handles well.

The EMPSIGN Hard Side 20" Luggage is perfect if you need a smaller carry on that looks great and is expandable. I got it in the light purple, which is kind of like a mauve, and it has a cool metallic sparkle in the paint. It is definitely identifiable if you put it through luggage claim. I had an expandable bag years ago that wore out and I have missed the option of adding the additional two inches of space for souvenirs I pick up along the way, which this has, see picture. This also contains a built in TSA lock and place outside for your cord to connect to the charger you place inside. The bag has mesh pockets and straps to keep everything in place as well as a plastic compartment for wet items. It feels firm enough, with a little give so it is less likely to crack. The wheels move in every direction and the handle locks in place at more than one level. I am not sure about the built in lifting handles - they seem a little cheap and as if they could break off it I have a lot in my bag, so I may not risk using them. Otherwise, this was a good get and should serve me well. I will update after my first trip.

Perfect size for a 2 week Europe trip and meets size requirements for carry on. Put your suitcase in the outside overhead bin on United. The bins on the outside are wider than the inside.

Just the suitcase i wanted. Love all the compartments and separate pockets for small items. And the security lock as well.

Love it! Beautiful color, sturdy

This suitcase is well made and it's great that it comes with a built-in TSA approved locking mechanism. Although finding the combination for a lock with only 3 tumblers can be done relatively quickly, the lock still will prevent the case from accidentally opening while in transit. The flat profile of the handles could also help prevent the suitcase from catching on things while being handled by airline luggage handlers. It seems to roll nicely over tile and the extending handle feels firm and stable.The interior has zippered covers for each side to help keep all packed items in place. One side has a waterproof zippered compartment that could be used for liquid items (note that you have to remove liquids from the suitcase when passing through security, so this will likely only be used to separate a damp bathing suit from other items), and a second zippered compartment for small flat items. The interior of the side near the lock has a USB cable which could be used for a phone charger, and there's a small pocket in the lining that the charger can be zipped into so that it does not shift around within the case. The linings for both sides have zippers which were inserted with the zipper pulls on the wrong side so it's difficult to open them - although the only time you might open the zipper would be to replace the USB cord should it become damaged.The pipes of the collapsible handle take up a bit of space on one side, so you lose a lot of packing space when having to pack things around the handles. Also, the actual measurements of the case are smaller that I thought they would be. The case itself is clearly smaller than my usual carry on bag (about an inch shorter), and the expansion gusset only adds about 1" (likely 2 cm), even thought the description called it 2".

Plenty of zippered compartments, enough room for a weeklong getaway and love the battery compartment so you can charge your phone by plugging the charging cable into an exterior USB plug. Don’t have to open the suitcase!
