It was small when it arrived but once I washed it, there is no way going back - it is small for a child. It is not too bad but acrylic is definitely not the best thing to have next to your skin. It is two layers, which makes it a bit thick and warm, potentially, if it covered the ears, which it doesn't after the washing.
