Excellent Tamiya kit but tampered with by Amazon
This is a terrific typical Tamiya kit - simple to build yet not cutting corners on details, fully recommended to anyone no matter their modelling skills. BEWARE though - if you buy directly from Amazon, the Finnish swastika markings (Hakaristi, which have absolutely nothing to do with the Nazi symbols) will be masked everywhere with tape and marker (box, instructions etc) and the decals representing them will be cut off and removed. A very annoying and useless thing from people that have no idea about history.

A good starting point.
Goes together easily like a typical Tamiya kit. The Finnish specific parts are good, though the logs do suffer from some minor misalignment along the mold seams that require some quick work with a file to correct. Likewise a little bit of filler will be needed when adding the concrete armour to the front of the fighting compartment.For specific information on Finnish Stugs I recommend the site of Andreas Larka at www.andreaslarka.net.For a built up example see the attached photo!
