F. Dick Pro-Dynamic 2 Piece Knife Deal - 8 1/2" Chef's Knife and 7" Offset Bread Knife - High Carbon German Stainless Steel

The knives are from Germany but the steel is not the best from F-Dick its sharp and works well i really only wanted the bread knife which is perfect the negative is the angle of the black material on the kitchen knife which is at an angle and the sharp part of the knife is exposed when in the knife block this could potentially allow ones finger to rub against it and cut their finger as they go to remove a knife next to it in the block. I had to grind the exposed sharp metal part down to a dull feel so my wife and daughter would not have a cut finger. If you have one of the magnetic knife holders on the wall this would not be an issue but please be aware of this hazard if your going to place it in a wood block.
