To what extent would you go to have a baby??Kendall Ryan has done it again!! Baby Daddy is probably one of my favorite of her books to date!! This story was fun, entertaining and sexy. What starts as a chance meeting in a stuck elevator turns into something so much more.As I have said before Kendall is the bomb when it comes to writing a romantic and swoony love story. She comes up with unique and fun stories and she always gives us characters that are easy to relate to and connect with. Even though parts of this storyline were fairly predictable, it didn’t take away from my full enjoyment. I loved the characters so much that I couldn’t help but get sucked into this book.In Baby Daddy we follow the story of Jenna and Emmett. Jenna is a 35 year old woman who has given up on men but is determined to have a baby. Coming from a single mom, she figures if her mom did it she can do it. Figuring she doesn’t need a man because they just let her down anyway. So she decides to go to a sperm bank….no muss no fuss!!! But what she doesn’t expect is to get stuck in the buildings elevator and to meet Emmett. Emmett is a CEO on his way to work when the elevator in his building gets stuck. Stranded Jenna and Emmett strike up a conversation. Finding out Jenna’s plan Emmett offers up his own proposition to help her out. Will Jenna take Emmett up on his offer?? What happens when lines blur?? Can Jenna and Emmett have a HEA when secrets are revealed?? Read this fun story to find out.Baby Daddy is a standalone novel told in Dual POV. This story isn’t loaded down with a lot of outside drama, there was just enough extra to keep you interested. But really you will love Jenna and Emmett so much you won’t even miss the drama. I loved the banter and friendship that Jenna and Emmett forge into. There are some secondary characters but they really don’t steal the show in this book. I loved that the focus was really on Jenna and Emmett.If you are a fan of Kendall Ryan’s then you don’t want to miss this sexy story. definitely worth the 1-click on release day!! Kendall Ryan's books are always amazing to me. They are always Sassy, Swoony and Sexy. I love her main leads as they always deliver with the fantastic banter, hot chemistry and a beautiful love story. I could not get enough of Jenna and Emmett and their connection. What started as an impersonal agreement quickly escalates to something they need and ultimately couldn't live without. I could not get enough!Emmett Smith is all about having fun but is one and done with commitment as he only has time for his work. His motto based on his own family experience: "Why get married and have kids when it'll lead to unhappiness especially when work comes first." But then he meets Jenna, a 35 year old career oriented woman who realizes all her years of devotion and hardwork to her business allowed her personal life to take a back seat. Her solution: a plan for single motherhood and a date with a sperm bank. But enter Fate: one stopped elevator, chance meeting and fiery chemistry later, Emmett now has Jenna convinced to give him a chance to be the "stud" for her future baby. But when lines get crossed and feelings develop, can these two realize what they have right in front of them is worth a chance at forever?This book was amazing!! It was a hot and fun story that really hit the spot. It was sweet and sexy and gave me all the feels. Emmett and Jenna delivered the laughs, swoons and hot sexytimes that Kendall Ryan's books are known for!! While the twist was something that we could see a mile away, it was very well done and highly entertaining. I look forward to more from this author in the future. Bravo! 4.5 stars! ~Ratula

I love Kendall Ryan's books and Baby Daddy rates right on up there as one of my favorites! From the moment our heroine, Jenna, meets sexy playboy Emmett, she is intrigued by him. Especially when she spills the beans about her visit to his office building (which she doesn't know is his office building which causes quite a bit of tension later) and he jumps at the chance to lend a helping hand. I loved how plucky and ballsy Jenna was. She definitely knows what she wants and she will stop at nothing to make her dreams of having a baby happen. Her complete nonchalance about the whole "baby-making" scenario was a mixture of complete naiveté and hilarious comedy-of-errors. I was utterly charmed, especially in the business-like way she attempted to get "the business". Emmett was delicious. He likes his life, and his women, just how it is...fast, loose, and easy and he wants no woman or children. Jenna's proposition catches his attention because he doesn't want a baby but he desperately wants to get in he pants. Once these two come to an agreement...prepare yourself for some down and dirty sexy times. Of course, it doesn't start off that easy, and again, I laughed so much at Jenna's antics. Crazy woman!!! Soon all that baby-making becomes something more than they expected and reading how they navigated the waters of friendship, sex, and feelings was refreshing and honest. I truly enjoyed the adventure. Jenna is also facing a business crisis, one in which she has no idea that her baby-daddy is playing a role in. When all these hidden feelings and career secrets come to light...prepare yourself for some pretty explosive fireworks. Remember, Jenna is funny, sweet, but cray-cray (but in the very best of ways) so her reaction is pretty sensational. This books incited numerous episodes of belly-rolling laughter and sex scenes so hot my Kindle was smoking by the end. Jenna and Emmett's journey from singles in the elevator to co-parents was emotional, humorous, and wickedly erotic. I'm sure you will love this book as much as I did. I can't wait to see what Ms. Ryan has up her sleeve next. She rarely ever disappoints! 5 stars.

This short read is a great pick me up. I enjoyed that the female lead is driven to get what she wants from life and her man (to be) is secure enough to help her get there without diminishing her power.

Completely unrealistic, both in plot and in characters - and still very very likeable, so much that I just had to read on to see how it ended.The story is told with both Jemma and Emmett as narrators - I don't usually like narrations in first person singular, but I can tolerate it. Emmett at first comes over as cold, uncaring, and full of himself, borderline narcissistic. Jemma as desperate and at the same time trying to get what she wants at all costs. The story starts when both of them gets trapped in an elevator, Jemma on her way to a sperm bank, Emmet on his way to the office. When hearing about Jemma's wish for a baby, but not for a father or partner, he's more than willing to help out "the old-fashioned way."Thanks to the mostly humorous and compassionate narration, though, the story does result in quite a good read, despite all my complaints about it above.

Jenna owned and ran a book shop but she wanted more a baby if her own she made plans to visit a sperm bank to begin the process of becoming a mummy. Little did she know her life would change do drastically by a broken down lift. Emmett on his way to work the CEO of a company finds himself stuck in the lift with Jenna they end up talking and he finds out that her visit to see about sperm donor had ended when the lift stopped. He told her he was willing to help her out but on the understanding he had no wish to be involved in abrining up a baby . Jenna already wanted and planned to be a single parent. But fate stepped in they slowly developed feelings for each other which they kept to themselves. After Jenna finds out Emmett company is the people putting pressure on her to sell their life takes a doenward spiral Jenna is upset feeling betrayed by Emmett. Emmett is upset because he loves her and the baby and thinks she will never forgive him. But life goes on and problems arise and the love prevails bringing them back together and finally marry and start their family happy ever after . Loved reading this book it has everything .

This was an amazing read. What started out as black and white soon turned to grey. Neither person wanted to show their feelings cards first. Till a misunderstanding had him scrambling to correct it.Narration was awesome.
