I LOVED Cuffed, which was Grant's story
I'm having a hard time with this review, because I'm only giving this book 4 stars! Let me explain. I LOVED Cuffed, which was Grant's story!! It pulled me in in the first chapter and never let me go!! I LOVED Combust because my heart just went out to both Grady and Dylan! They had such difficult pasts and I so wanted them to have a brighter future, that I couldn't help but root for them. I LIKED Worth the Risk, only because both Grayson and Sidney were so frustrating! I know that Grayson was hurt beyond belief by Claire when she walked out on him and Luke because of money and status!! BUT, as his father pointed out, that was 8 years ago! He just couldn't let it go, or he didn't want to let it go for fear of getting hurt again. And he unfairly compared Sidney to Claire the whole time, which wasn't fair to her once she started to prove herself to him. And Sidney wasn't being honest with Grayson about her feelings or her reasoning for being back in Sunnyville. Wanted to slap them both and tell them to get over themselves and really look at what was in front of them. Now, after saying that, I did love the book. I just felt like it took too long for them to both see the error of their ways. I did like how far Sidney came from the spoiled little rich girl who was riding her daddy's coattails. She really grew as a person and a woman. And I loved that she acknowledged it when the going got tough. My heart went out to her when she wanted to be "worth the risk". Grayson was just a little too stubborn for me. It took him way too long to see the errors of his ways, in my opinion. He wasn't my favorite Malone brother, but he did have his redeemable qualities. He is an amazing father, a great son, and a dedicated pilot who only wants to serve without praise. Mostly, in a very difficult situation, he raised a wonderful son!! Luke was, by far, the best part of this book!! He is an amazing young boy who only wants to have a normal family. He also, for only being 8 years old, has an amazing grasp of what's going on around him. He can see the good in everything and loves with his whole heart. Grayson should be proud!!I did enjoy this read, even with my frustration with the two main characters. The supporting cast is wonderfully written and enhances the story beautifully. I gave it 4 starts because Grayson's story just wasn't as captivating as either of his brother's. But it was worth the time to read and i would recommend it.

Good book
This is a good book, I just didn't care for the characters and how they got along, so the book barely held my interest. But still worth reading.

HOT DADDY AND ADORABLE LITTLE BOY !
GRAYSON is ready to risk his LIFE for rescuing people, people he loves or strangers, but does NOT want to risk his HEART, never again! A narcissistic, shallow, greedy, stupid, cupid, selfish woman (yes i don't like her lol) broke his heart some years ago, treating him like he was nothing, like he was not worthy of love because he was not rich or influential. She also abandoned their son who was just a baby (also not worthy of her love, not compared to her parents' money, yes she's a .... you get the picture). So Grayson had been deeply hurt and doesn't want to repeat history. His heart is protected by thick walls. His family loves him too much not to help him so they enter him in a hot dad contest for a local magazine.SIDNEY is in charge of the contest. Her father challenges her to save the magasine. He thinks she was too spoiled her whole life and she doesn't know hard work. Indeed when she was in high school she was a little shallow but she changed a bit... Not enough for her father. So Sidney comes back in the town where she lived younger and has to save a magazine about family, marriage, kids... Things she doesn't know nor wants. Grayson Malone is perfect for the contest. Hot as hell, heroic, loved by everyone in town and a devoted father. But he remembers her from high school and knows she was a spoiled little rich girl like his ex.Through the pages Sidney meets people more "down to earth" to what she's used to. She enjoys simple things. She surprisingly and quickly fit well in this new life. She's not shallow, she just needed to spend time with people who know the real values of life.I really like her, and the way she opens herself to others without prejudice or judgement. I would have liked to know why she's germaphobe though. Even if Grayson is attracted to her he's stubborn. A little too much. Near the end he says something really hurtful. That's a slip of the tongue but still, it's mean, Sidney doesn't deserve that. The second characters are amazing! Grayson's family (Grant is still my fav!), and Rissa (a second mother) especially.BUT it's LUKE who stole my heart in this book! Grayson's son is sooooo adorable. He wants his father happy and he wants a mother so much. He's super smart, funny and charming. This book is full of angst, hot sex, humor, swooning, emotions... And with a hot daddy :-D ! TBR !Grayson : 4*Sidney : 4*---> their chemistry : 5*Secondary characters : 5*Writing : 5*Suspense : 3*Atmosphere : 5*Originality: 4*
