Book came as advertised
This book was a good read, it had a lot of information in it and it took me a while to finish reading it. The print was very clear and the ink didnt produce any smudges or anything.

Worth it
Yes, I know that this book was for school, but it was a very good read and very insightful. I enjoyed almost every chapter-which is a different account of discrimination through the eyes of the story teller.

Good Read!
I purchased this book for my graduate course and it is filled with many sociological concepts spanning from many world issues both domestic and international. Even if read leisurely, it serves as something that can be referenced for personal and academic use.

Excellent compilation of essays that give scholars a more intimate take on these very complex issues. Alberto Gonzalez and his team are phenomenal editors, revising a collection of essays that my students enjoy reading. It has been six years since I first used this book and it is by far the most impactful social science textbook I have used in my dozen years teaching in college. I can't wait for the 6th edition and the new essays in light of a new president and new current matters.
