Prosta-Q

For several years, I chronically experience what I can best describe as a jolt of pain in my prostate that usually happens at night and in the mornings while I am laying down prior to getting up in the morning. My DR. (urologist) strongly suggested taking hot baths every night and taking PROSTA-Q. I finally decided to give the product a try out of frustration based on an inability to stop the chronic jolts of pain. I took the product as prescribed by the company(2 capsules a day) for 4 or 5 days. For some reason, I started getting all kinds of shooting pain in my whole groin and testicle area that lasted for around a week after i stopped taking the product. On a more positive note, the product actually helped alot with the jolts and after the groin pain subsided, I still experienced alot of relief for several weeks. After the jolts returned regularly, I was extremely hesitant to take the product again, but after several more weeks of jolts, I decided to buy some empty (vegan) capsules (the products capsules are not vegan) and fill a few capsules with half doses and take just one half dose to see if I would experience relief without suffering from the groin pains that I originally experienced after taking the product for 4 days straight. I did get some groin pain but not as much and decided to try and take half a capsule in another few days. I have experimented a bit and I found that my jolt issue subsides for several days to several weeks without having to take the product. I am always hesitant to take the product based on the unusual groin/testicle pain that the product seems to cause me , however I weigh that against the jolt pain that I chronically suffer from and I carefully and occasionally take half a prosta -q kind of as needed once the jolt pain clearly has returned for several days and I am seeking relief from it. All men will suffer of BHP ( benign prostate hyperplasia) eventually. This product works fantastically reducing inflammation and restoring normal flow. It also works for non bacterial prostatitis. Don't waste your time if you have bacterial prostatitis, this has to be treated with fluoroquinolones ( levaquin is one of the best, be aware some people are allergic to this kind of antibiotics). Normal treatment will required at least 30 to 45 days. Be aware if your taking this antibiotics, calcium, zinc, and other minerals will decrease effectivity of treatment. Forget coffee and caffeine containing beverages for a couple of months. Other over the counter products ( saw palmetto, zinc supplements) will interfere with the antibiotics treatment.

I was suffering from a feeling of soreness and inflammation in the pelvic floor and perineum area for a little over two years and the pain was increasing in intensity - approaching the limits of my tolerance. I had previously taken anti-biotics as doctors feared prostatitis but still felt the same. Instead of continuing to increase the anti biotic dosage/strength, I instead did research and found someone recommending this product. Not kidding but after one dosage of taking this, my pain was gone!! Just like that! I now feel compelled to share with as many men who suffer from this type of pain. The only side effect was a severe case of indigestion and I realized I needed to take with food. I also lowered my dosage in half and still don't feel any pain.
