Another good veggie book from Linda
As always Linda has come up with some great veggie dishes to tickle our palats. Variety is so important if one excludes meat.

This is a great book - I have had mine for years and am still enjoying it
This is a great book - with lots of recipes that offer variety, and yet others that thankfully tell you how to do basic stuff like make a pizza dough. I really have found this very useful over the years in the kitchen - and am still convinced it is yet properly to come into fashion - I found out today from a very good friend of mine that the average pig divided by the average pork joint size equals fifteen. In other words, I have been told that fifteen people who eat a proper joint of pork for one meal will eat the main part of the whole pig that has had to be raised and fed for years. Clearly, there is something that isn't making sense!! If the amount of money needed for testing meat products properly is added onto the amount it must cost to raise the produce - the whole situation can be seen to look even more seriously worrying/improbable. Moreover, people who claim to eat meat because they say that it may be healthy to do so clearly do do a lot of other unhealthy things - a lot of them still smoke or drink alcohol, for instance...so again, something isn't particularly logical about the habit. I recommend this book not just because of all that, however, but because there is some really good food suggested within its pages.
