I love this watch. It looks nice and a mix between a dress watch and a casual watch. This watch looks a lot better in real life. The pictures just can't do it justice. The bracelet is nice and shinny, however this watch just doesn't look as good on the bracelet. It looks much better on leather but it's better to have the bracelet saved and just put it on leather. Best of all it's affordable so you can go out and have fun with it without having to worry about damaging a thousand dollar watch.

I purchased this watch in March 2017. I wore it swimming today. The face has misted up indicating it isn’t water resistant to 50m and suitable for swimming and showers as advertised. Great looking wrist watch but sadly doesn’t live up to representations as advertised. I recommend that buyers steer clear.

I purchased this watch from Amazon and it is absolutely beautiful. I've had the watch for under a month and the band/bracelet is already very very scratched. I have not been rough on this watch at all though I do wear it every day. This is very concerning to me as I have never had a watch scratch this easily, and this is by far the most I have spent on a watch. Also, when I went to have this watch sized, the jeweler questioned where I had gotten the watch and its authenticity due to the fact that the band lacked arrows to the direction of which way to extract the pins, since all of their Hamilton watches had these arrows. I must say the front and back face of the watch have remained perfect, but I am incredibly disappointed with the durability of the band. I expected more for my money, but the watch and movement itself I love. This resulted in the watch receiving as many stars as I gave it. I would say though to keep this watch and especially its band in mint condition, you need to never wear it. For this reason I cannot say I'd recommend this watch with the stainless steel bracelet but to possibly go with a leather band instead.

If you are looking for an understated, classy-looking watch that you can wear on almost any occassion; you will like this piece. There is nothing too exciting about it. It has the ETA 2824-2 inside of it, it keeps great time, and it looks fantastic on a black or brown leather strap as well. It is simple; it doesn't demand attention, yet it is something you can be proud to have on your wrist. Some of the details that you may not notice in the pictures - the texturing in the center of the dial is actually made up of small little H's. Kinda neat. The center of the bracelet is also meant to look like H's. The outer links are highly polished so be aware that it will easliy show scratches if you are not careful.

Purchased this for my husband for our anniversary a couple of months ago, and we both absolutely love it. The pictures don't do it justice--it's an absolutely beautiful watch. This was the first automatic watch that he has owned, and it made such a good impression that he already picked out another automatic for his Christmas present! It's a perfect watch to wear with a suit or nice outfit, and he even enjoys wearing it to work with a button-down as well. Keeps great time, although I think he said it's about 7 seconds fast each day (which is to be expected from automatics, if I understand correctly). Wonderful watch, great quality, and fast shipping--couldn't ask for more.

I have had this watch for about a week now, and it looks and feels great! It has good weight but is not heavy, and the dial is clear. I went for the Hamilton based on a co-worker who has a couple of them, as well as the story behind the company. Great company, great watch!

How'd the watch get all that water inside of it?

I purchased this Hamilton 5155 Jazzmaster Viewmatic for myself and what a great looking dress watch. I also purchased a Jazzmaster for my brother in law for his recent birthday. Hamilton has its origins here in the USA and is well known worldwide plus known for getting the railroads off to a good start in the 1800s due to its extreme accuracy. I have not rated the water resistance feature because I have not and don't intend on testing it in water.

After looking at watches for some time, I decided to order the Hamilton because it offered Swiss automatic movement and a look that could be both casual and dressy. I don't regret my choice for a minute. The watch looks fantastic, has a nice substantial weight to it without being overly large, and keeps great time. This is a great value for the money, especially when getting a very good price on Amazon.
