Easy to use, and permed mum's hair well. It's hard to get hold of in the shops

A permanent wave I have used for years has been discontinued and I really didn't look forward to using an alternative but Pin-up, home perm has proved to do the job just as well, maybe even better. Thanks

After chemo last year my hair is curly but not nice curls, just look deranged. I've tried to embrace them, spent a fortune on curly hair products but just looked deranged with some mousse/like a 50s woman with a REALLY BAD short home perm.Decided to straighten it again with my trusty GHD straighteners, had to do it in small sections, took 50 mins and as soon as I got slightly hot ie moved off the sofa it immediately started to bend and try desperately to get back into a curl.So.....haven't done this for years, but in desperation ordered this. It arrived today so obviously I had to rush upstairs and do it immediately.Well what a shocker!!!! NO smell of decaying small mammals/eggs sulphur from the pit of Hell - yes there is a smell but nothing like the ones I've used before! Chemical smell but not at all unpleasant. You work it into a foam, apply to clean towel dried hair in sections, comb through a LOT with your usual parting and leave 20 mins ( I have highlights). Rinse and do same with neutraliser, leave 10 mins and rinse. That's it! Blow dried on low heat just using fingers as a brush, and it's straight but still with volume!!!!! Ran the straighteners through it for 3 mins and I'm done xxxxObvs it's dried my hair out a bit but with some TLC it's fine, no breakage. I know it is not marketed for this purpose but it worked for me x

You would never guess, but I used it to perm my hair. So going out in damp weather the curls stay. Otherwise, within in 5 minutes of going out in the damp the hair went straight, but no more. The perm went well, but the perm curlers I ordered via a friend were terrible. So ended up using my old ones.

For perming my hair it worked well

This did not work on my hair. Not one curl. Due to the perm lotion being on my hair it was already damaged. It dried like straw. I could hold a piece of my hair up and it would stand on end. I out tons of conditioner on and left it to soak and gently combed it for three days. I did half my hair at one side,luckily I did not try this perm all over. My hair snapped off a little bit trying to get it back to a softer texture . I will be deep conditioning my hair for the next couple of weeks and never wanting to try a perm again. In the box you get the oermi g solutions ,a tiny sponge,pack of perm papers . Rollers are not included.
