Gets the job done
It took me a couple of tries, but once I got the hang of it I have found it works really well. Though is says you can only use it with lighter weight yarns, if you add a little more weight to it (I find using a couple of 3/4" nuts from the hardware store) you can even use worsted weight yarn.

ability to perform its function
Missing yarn and needle from package; did not work correctly; have decided you get what you pay for; am returning and ordering a more expensive product from anothet source

Functional
Not what I expected, you have to use light weight yarn or it won't work

Spend the money on a quality machine
I have used this a couple of times now and it does not operate smoothly. The gear frequently slips. The yarn often does not fully slip below the latches without a nudge even after adding extra weight with a sport weight yarn. I have to carefully watch each loop being made to ensure it is positioned correctly. I gave 2 stars because I can get I cord from it faster than knitting but I cannot recommend it. I can recommend spending more money on a higher quality version after borrowing one from a friend.

Stick with it
It is not the easiest device right out of the gate but with a little practice I was able to make some pretty good, even chains for a project. The weight helps tremendously but dont' give up on the first or even the fifth go around. Stick with it b/c this product does work.

Grandma loves it
Not too smooth to get it started, but once it goes it’s good.

needed for I-cord.
Needed to make I-cord for a project. Advertised as capable of doing what I needed. NO. It does not!! Absolutely useless.

Just take your time, at first keep loose 4 couple rounds then use weight
Love it

Would recommend
I've wanted this for ages because using a French doll for an icord is so tiring. It's a bit awkward to figure out at first and if you don't pay attention it can mess up pretty easy but overall it's a good product

Keeps getting jammed
ACTUALLY 0 STARS!A load of cack! A waste of money! It kept getting jammed and it didn't matter which direction I rotated the handle (and this was without using yarn). I could not even make 1 revolution as it just wouldn't budge Do not waste you time or your money on this cack.

i supose it meant to knit, so in a way it works.
I liked the fact tha it actually knits, I didnt like the fact that you have to start /stop so many times before it actuallty started knitting.

Either I’m not smart enough to use, or it was already falling apart.
I couldn’t get it to work at all. Assumed I was doing something wrong, tried repeatedly while following YouTube instructions. Then one of the tiny metal arms fell off. Upon inspection I noticed another was missing altogether. Possibly I failed to get it to work because it was already faulty.

Difficult gadget
Very cheaply made and extremely difficult to use. I gave up after an hour!
