I love these knives. Very sharp and they fit nicely in your hand. Def needs to be hand washed.

[The only time I write reviews is when an item or service exceeds expectations, or falls far below. this is the latter, buyer beware]I ordered two of these as Christmas gifts to my children, continuing a tradition my Dad started with my siblings and me. As they were being opened, I was touting the incredible sharpness and history of Laguiole cutlery. Then came the sideway glances and awkward silence. I examined one of the knives, then another. The dullness of the blades, and the flimsiness of the steel, plus the roughness of the word told me all I needed to know. While the picture is pretty accurate to what I received, the description is simply false. DO NOT BUY THESE!!I have seen $5 pocket knives with sharper blades. In fact, I'd put these in the "unsafe" category with how dull they are. The idea that paying a little more might proved a better product didn't pan out. I've already submitted for a return/refund, but may not wait to see what happens, and contact Amazon directly.

I have owned the real set before from William - Sonoma and these ARE NOT REAL. DO NOT BUY. They are horrible and they have a $60 restocking fee!!

I’m not even sure if the blade is metal?… These may be a knock off? I will never use them , they are so flimsy.
