This crane was purchased for my 3 year old. He has many other construction trucks and was missing the crane truck. I was hesitant and thought the reel would break as our trucks are hauled inside and out, but this truck is still in great shape and nothing has broken off after several months. He loves the manual retractable boom and hook to lift and carry things. Pushes through sand without problems and added dump truck and plow on front make this very versatile. The sounds it makes are perfect and not too loud (audiologist here). Great truck!

Bought this for my grandson and was pleasantly surprised when it came. It is made very well, very sturdy and durable. It was a nice size too. I will be buying some of their other tractors again. You won’t be disappointed if you buy them

We have a 3-year-old who is a huge construction enthusiast. He puts all his construction vehicles to the test using them in sand, wood chips, dirt, you name it! It is important to get construction toys that will not break because when they do, oh man, watch out!!! This crane truck has been awesome! My son has used it to pull all of his steel construction trucks and anything else he can hook it to. It is also small enough that he will bring it in the car with us to different parks. Highly recommend this toy!

I bought this construction toy for a child in my family and saved it for a special event--it recently made an appearance at our house and it's been a BIG success! Here are a few thoughts:*Playability: This toy meets the most important criterion--it's really fun to play with! It's really well-sized in that it's big enough to feel like a "big truck" for a small child but also not too big to manage. The big orange sound effects buttons are fun too, and trigger fun sounds. The features (the scooper, the crane, etc.) all play together nicely.*Durable: The plastic and other materials are all pretty strong and hold up to a good amount of punishment at our house. Nice to know it's not meant for just a couple play sessions!*Price: $25 (the current listing price) is a little high, but the quality of the toy is high enough that I still think I'd get it again.

Bought this for a four year old birthday boy, he loves it.

The design of this crane/truck is nice. However it is poorly made. I thought maybe the problem was just a fluke so I returned the first one and bought a second. The second had the same problem. The toy cable on the crane is not attached to the hook like the picture shows, so when you move the crane arm the icable slips out. The canle is so short its nearly impossible to retye it. The hook has a screw that is broken just like the first one I bought. I tried to retye it and we’ll see if that holds. Its very disappointing bc my grandson loves the design.

Surprisingly sturdy except for the hook which dangles from a precarious thin string. That said, the fact that this toy has a scoop and trailer really makes it worth it.
