Paints are fantastic & some amazing colors. Very easy to use. However all paints were tossed around in the box. There is a plastic piece at the bottom that has imprinted holes to hold the paints. However there was nothing placed on top of paints keeping them in place. Glad none of them leaked out. Maybe place plastic or something similar on top to keep them in their place.

My son is starting his own game piece business. He has some expensive paints, but he does not want to use those when he is practicing or making prototypes. I got him some different sets of paints to try- including this one.HOW THIS COMESThis comes in a box which has a plastic molded tray with places for each paint bottle. There are several bottles of thinner which is excellent.COLORSThe colors vary from plain colors to neon, metallic, and duochrome. The finish is satin finish - not super shiny and not matte either.PERFORMANCEThese work well when there is enough pressure in a medium to larger air gun tip. If there is a fine tip on, it is more hit and miss. You will need some thinner and to have enough pressure working it. It seems to work well with the medium tip he is using. As long as you continually clean your airbrush every time you change colors (as in back wash, empty, and wipe) it should work fine.COVERAGEThese are okay, but they do have some transparency to them. That means that you will have to do some passes before there is really good coverage. For the iridescents, metallics, and duochromes, working on dark bases helps a lot.BOTTLESThe bottles are sealed with a very tight seal that can be tough to get off. You have to go slowly and carefully and with a blade or something that will cut easily and it should not be too tough. Some open more easily than others. There is a good side- if one color is not being used for a while, it won't dry out fast.CAPSThere is a clear cap that screws off, and a black cap that is where the paint comes out of. If you keep a paper towel handy to wipe off the tips after dispensing paints, they don't clog up as much.MIXINGI have a vortex mixer so it does not have an issue with the paint settling.THE BOTTOM LINEThis set of paints has a great selection of paint types and colors. It is decent quality.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. For this price, this is a great set to experiment with, practice with, or use in a hobby setting. it is not the best paint you can buy, but the qualiity is decent and works well if you keep things clean, keep the pressure up, and and don't try to use too fine of a tip.This is an excellent set for a starter or practice set and my son is enjoying learning his new methods for making game pieces and backgrounds.

This set contains a nice variety of paint (metallic, iridescent, neon, regular) and 6 bottles of thinner.The paint is great quality and thinning may not be necessary depending on the pressure.I recommend this product.

This is an excellent set of 44 airbrush paints featuring a nice selection of iridescent, metallic, classic, and neon colors all in one big box. Set also includes six 20-ml bottles of paint thinner for the following situations:The posting notes that a PSI of greater than 32 allows your airbrush to spray the paint without thinning it further and that with a PSI of less than 32 you'll need to dilute your paint with the supplied paint thinner so that your airbrush will operate at its best. The posting also notes: "It's recommended to add 1-2 drops of thinner to 10 drops of paint when the air flow of the compressor is below 20 L/min,if the air flow of the compressor is 20-23L/min,the airbrush paint can be spray out directly."I was able to use my simple airbrush sprayer without thinning this paint any further with excellent results. I basically soft-pinstriped an old light-colored wooden box that looks great - no streaks, drips, etc. Very happy with this airbrush paint; it worked very well with my airbrush sprayer and as I intended it to and hoped it would.
