(Thought it was super boring & not to mention we normally match for Halloween. He said he wanted to do something on his own, which broke my heart but anyways..) Then it came in the mail & he put it on & showed me it… I was completely blown away at how awesome this mask is! Comes with so many options of faces & customization tools. Highly recommend. All the kids love it

Do you often procrastinate and need to desperately find a mask or something a mere few days before Halloween? Then this could be just the product for you!Maximum effort, this is not. If you’re looking for that, get a Deadpool costume. For what it is, though, it will suit my needs - something just fun enough that people can’t call me out for ignoring Halloween. Some of the animations on this are better than others. While the flaming jack-o-lantern offers a pretty smooth experience, the ghoul with blood coming out of the eyes and mouth looks quite janky to me.Without a doubt, you need to download the app to take the most advantage of this item. While you can scroll through a lot of masks with the two buttons on it, it’s much easier to select them from the app and you get added features like masks with customized text and a music syncing. What’s interesting about the music syncing is that it only appears to work with songs by Japanese artists. I have some Japanese artists in my Apple Music library, and it worked perfectly if a song from any of them were selected, but the moment I tried an American artist, it was a no-go. You can also use a cool feature of having the mask respond to noise around you, so it seems that could be a good option for music playing at a party. In addition, you can add a photo from your photo library to display on the mask, so your options are theoretically endless. Otherwise, this mask fits perfectly well, even for a mid-30s guy putting in next to no effort on Halloween like me.I add theoretically onto this because of my one major complaint with the mask, which is its resolution. Even if they had doubled the resolution, it would be a night and day difference.At the end of the day, this is a perfectly acceptable Halloween mask. That’s even if you might need to get a little creative with clothes for it to pass as anything more than a bare-minimum effort, but I’m okay with that.

My son loved this mask so much! He kept getting compliments on it! It was perfect and lasted all day and night.

Worked great for my 6 year olds costume. Found the image of the peely character screen shot it , applied to mask and bought a banana costume. Custom peely costume with a great mask that can be used again and again!

The mask presses firmly on the forehead and the bridge of the nose, which gets uncomfortable after a while. The mask kinda sorta fits over glasses but then it sticks out further and reduces the field of view, and it also presses the glasses firmly against your face.The effects are bright enough for a party environment. Stationary and moving effects are handled separately. Up and down buttons scroll through the moving effects, and a motion sensor in the chin scrolls through the stationary effects. Both of these methods are awkward because there are a lot of supplied effects and, in the case of the motion sensor, no way to scroll back. If you are not in front of a mirror there is no way to tell what is showing.However, the app makes it all much easier. Just find the effect you want, tap on it and it loads to the mask. There are also options to display text or one of several patterns that respond to the phone's microphone. You can upload a picture from your collection but it has to be bold and bright; most pictures look washed out. The app allows the motion sensor to be disabled so that the effect doesn't change unexpectedly.

This mask was absolutely perfect for my son’s Halloween costume as BoyWithUke! It fit him perfectly, was comfortable to wear, and really completed the look. The battery life is fantastic—it lasted all night without any issues. Great quality and a must-have for any fan or costume.

The media could not be loaded. I’m not feeling particularly festive this Halloween so I was looking for something that was easy as opposed to my typical thrift shop hopping to find a good costume. When I saw this LED mask and saw that you could select from pre-chosen faces or take a photo and upload it, I thought this would be ideal. It even seemed like it would be fun. I thought maybe I could take photos of other people that would be at the party and upload it to the app and I could go as other guests. It didn’t quite work out the way that I thought because the resolution on this mask is absolutely horrendous. I was trying to learn the app by taking a photo of myself, uploading it to the mask and projecting it. It looked absolutely nothing like me. This could be a really fun mask if they put a little bit more effort into the design, used more LED lights and actually tried to make it look realistic. Unfortunately, it falls far short of what my expectations were, particularly for the price.In addition to the images being disappointing, the mask itself is incredibly uncomfortable to wear. If you want to know what it feels like to have this on your face, walk up to a window somewhere in your house, press your face against it until it feels like your nose is being pushed flat. Hold it like that for about 10 minutes and you will understand how this mask feels to wear it. Whoever designed it and did the test modeling for it must not have had a nose. This is hands-down the absolute most uncomfortable costume I’ve ever worn.I really do try to find something positive to say in every review I write, regardless of whether I like the product or not. Unfortunately, I truly can’t find anything positive to say about this one. I definitely will not be wearing this to the Halloween party.
