Good for the money
The light itself is actually really nice. I use it as a cheap location light for natural light portraits, being able to dial in color temp and having the batteries included are big pluses.A bit of advice, as soon as you unbox it, throw out the attached ball head it comes with with the shipping materials, it's utter trash. It can barely hold the light just sitting upright.

Unreliable battery mount
The light will cut power. Savage didn't want to help me since they are discontinuing the product.I recommend going with Nanlight the lumipad 25 is much lighter and more relibale. Stay away from savage LED lighting they aren't as reputable.

The lights look great but are unreliable
The lights looked great when they work but would randomly power off even on full battery. There seems to a short issue. I know another shooter with the same issue as well. Stay away.

For the price, these lights are absolutely perfect! Great luminosity for video work and you can even pull out some decent portraiture with it. When bought in the kit, the drop stands make an excellent quick move system. Add the fact you can run these off of batteries as well as AC power....well, you can't really ask for more.My only suggestion is to get a better mount than the one included with the system. For instance, a swivel mount.
