this book cloth has a nice, tight weave making it perfect for bookbinding. it keeps glue from seeping through and folds and cuts almost like thick paper with the soft texture of cloth. Great for cloth bound books and even lets heat transfer vinyl adhere well to it.

These sheets are huge. Almost big enough to cover my Dilbert coffee table book.Big enough to cover any text book, or multiple novels per sheet.Schools where I live require students to cover their text books with butcher paper to preserve the quality of front covers (they sell the books when rotating them out and want to maximize resale value).But! A covered book doesn’t have to be boring. I can cricut some permanent vinyl and decorate these covers and by proxy the boring looking textbooks. The kids are going to have the coolest math textbooks in the class.If you were covering something like a phone case or laptop, the abrasiveness of the fabric would prove useful, offering a better grip.One small gripe is the adhesive backing. It was a bit of a hassle to pull it off — so much so I came back to the ad to make sure the paper on the back is supposed to come off at all.Price is prohibitively high for most people. Having a fancy decorated textbook cover is a very eccentric thing, so this will probably be of interest to hobbyist crafters. For that crowd, there may be cheaper and equally good options available so it doesn’t hurt to look around.The product is physically quite good but im not impressed by the value proposition or ease of removing the backing.

I'm slowing getting into making handmade books, and this fabric is rounding out my materials collection. It's a nice feeling fabric with rich, deep colours. It's flexible without being limp, and it will go nicely over more still material to make covers for books.Or, I'm sure you can find other purposes with this cloth for scrapbooking or other home crafts. You could even sew this on to garments or handbags, if desired.I'm happy with this product.

I didn't get this set to bind books. I have an older ereader I adore and a cover I replaced once but now the newer one is also coming apart, and due to the reader's age it's impossible to find another cover. The book binding cloth is what I used to repair the cover. It's thin enough to not interfere with the magnet or size, but still keeps everything together and in place. It looks tons better then how I tried to fix my first cover, which was duct tape lol, and didn't hold up. I have high hopes with this.
