So far so good
I've had this controller for a week, the Ultimate version. I was skeptical that it would replace my Xbox Elite 2. I was running the Elite 2 to control my PS5 through REWASD / PS Remote Play combo on a neighboring PC on the same network but I was tired of all the hoops I had to jump through to use that method. I just wanted something native, even if the controller wasn't as good.To my surprise, I actually like this controller just about as much as I do the elite. I prefer the thumbstick to be in the upper position like on Xbox controllers, so that part is a downside for me, but performance wise, it's been amazing. It feels a little better in my hands, the main back paddles feel more natural to press while holding in a normal fashion, and it has a better grip on it. I will say the 3rd and 4th paddles on the back are in a worse spot than the Elite ones though for sure, and you do have to switch your middle finger between the main and secondary buttons rather than using middle-ring to hit all 4 with different fingers. But thats a small deal for me, I don't use the other two nearly as much as the mains. The mapping of the paddles is about as simple as it gets, you just activate remap mode by holding the small back button, then hold the buttons you want to assign to the paddle at the same time as that paddle, and its done within seconds. Can change on the fly just as easily. The sticks it comes with are better than the standard PS5 ones, and you can use taller sticks that are included if you choose. I kept the standard on the left and use the taller on the right, just like my Elite setup. They feel a little bit looser than my Elite which I have the tension turned all the way up on, bc you can't adjust tension on these ones. But as soon as I was used to it they were just fine. The best feature hands down for me is the short-action triggers. They have a very clicky, comfortable feel to them rather than the harsh stoppage of the Xbox triggers when on the short stops. Its almost like the same feeling as clicking a mouse. These are a game changer, they are super quiet and very comfortable, which is the exact opposite of my Elite, loud and harsh on the fingers.Overall I think the Elite 2 is a little better just because there are more customization options on it. But this thing is right there with it. I will say, I have only had it a week, so this could change if the durability on it sucks. But right now I'm honestly impressed. The only negative is the huge pricetag; I feel like the $150 - $200 range would have been a lot more reasonable. But supply and demand I suppose, the lack of options that are compatible with PS5 games made me pull the trigger anyway.

WILL STOP WORKING AFTER 1-2 MONTHS
I purchased this controller along with a few other brands to see what I preferred. This controller is really nice. It has mappable buttons, and the overall fit of it in your hands is really great. However, just after 2 weeks of using it, the X button started to stick. Similarly the square button started to stick. This isn’t a bad thing for the games I play, but now the stick drift on it is unbearable. It’s also like the right d-pad is permanently being pushed over. Of all the controllers I’ve reviewed, this is probably the worst for this reason. It didn’t last long at all, and I was unfortunately out of the return window and have no way to contact the seller for an exchange. Beware of this.

Worth the money compared to other custom controllers
Worth the money 100%. I've had other custom controllers and this is well worth it. Other custom builds have degraded or stopped working in various way. This controller has lasted and continues to impress. Seriously, considering a 2nd one just to have a great backup.

Ok, But Not Great
Initially really liked the controller. Lightning fast response, relative easy to program. My Call of Duty play improved immediately. The last few weeks or so, I've noticed Controller Drift. Barely noticable at first, but getting closer to unplayable now. I take really good care of the things that I buy. I expected years, not months, of viable use out of a $222 controller. After doing some more research, I'll be getting the new Dual Sense Edge. With the Edge, if/,when Drift happens, I'll be able to swap out the Joystick Module, instead of having to get a whole other controller. saving me lots of $$.

Outstanding Control.
A little pricey. However, overall performance of this control made it worth the price.

Sadly, I am done with Hex
I went through three controllers in ONE YEAR! I take care of my things. I don't throw or slam my controllers. I keep them clean and protected. However, every single controller has broken. L3 and R3 just stop working all together. It makes sprinting in WZ REALLLLL difficult. I sent to Asurion for replacement and they don't even use Hex parts. I had to send it right back to Asurion because when I got it back, more buttons weren't working that worked perfectly fine before. The overall quality of Asurion's repair job was dumpster trash. They sent me an Amazon gift card.......

Came with everything it says
Thought it was missing items, it wasn't. Had it for a few days so far so good. The left trigger you can click it just a tiny bit in without actually triggering the trigger, besides that works great.Ive actually purchased an envision, edge, bfg, revolution 5, and this controller over this past week.Going to return them all and keep the hexgaming. Im getting into streaming because i love playing warzone. I need the back paddles and a comfortable controller. With at least 3 paddles with good positioning and paddles that don't have a software (icue) to use to set the paddles like scuf. This is probably one of the best controllers you can get. the only downside is there is no buttons for keyboard mappings but that is not that big of an issue. Very good controller overall. The comfortability is greatUPDATE: had it about 5 days and the dpad is already going up and down on its own, noticed it when im buying airstrikes in warzone from buy stations. Left analog is getting stuck when moving left right and up. That is insane for 5 days.
