A great choice for a gift for a small child
I recently bought this Ascend nerf guns as a gift for my nephew, and he absolutely loves it! It's the perfect blend of fun and functionality, with all the accessories he could ever need to enjoy an unparalleled shooting experience. He's been playing with it non-stop since he got it, and it's been a huge hit at family gatherings. Plus, it's so well-made and durable that I know it will last him for years to come. If you're looking for a great gift for a kid who loves nerf guns or foam blasters, look no further – this Ascend model is the real MVP.I hope these reviews help you get a better sense of what this nerf guns is all about!

Outstanding Toy Gun Set – Great Value for Money!
I rarely write reviews, but this toy gun set deserves it! It comes with a gun, a laser light, a small flashlight, a rechargeable shooting pack, two bullet packs, a vest, and safety glasses. So many accessories – what more could you ask for at just $30? My son absolutely loves it, and I can confidently say this is the best item I’ve purchased on Amazon. Every penny is worth it. Highly recommend – go for it!

It's pretty awesome
The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is, because it's the coolest Nerf gun I've ever seen. It's rapid fire which to be honest it fires too fast causing the nerf bullets to jam. That's why you get a 150 because the bullets get damaged. My first one's battery didn't hold a charge which sucks, because I really love the gun, but they sent a replacement gun out within a day. So I can't complain. My only gripe is the 10 round mags and you only get two.I have one question for the seller. I want to buy more clips for the gun. Two is just not enough. Is there a way I can order more?

Great Toy and My Son’s Favorite
I purchased this as a gift for my 7 and 9 year old sons for Christmas. The way these look and function is so much better than a nerf. My boys loved these so much I bought one for my son’s best friend for his 10th birthday and it’s his favorite toy gun too. Highly recommend this for your nerf playing, Fortnite/Call of Duty loving kids - it will not disappoint!

Do not buy (In depth and other information)
Absolutely terrible. There is failure of mechanisms, all systems are not rechargeable, and compatibility issues with other common products.Failure of Mechanisms-1. The piston is not long enough-2. The form of the foam dart is crushed by the spring of the magazine.-3. Work arounds are difficult1. The automatic piston that pushes the foam dart into the flywheel chamber is not long enough to reliably fire the blaster. This causes jams and damages the foam darts, which can only be unjammed by unloading the magazine.2. Because of these reasons the blaster is due to jamming every few rounds. If you have already purchased this product, I recommend only loading the magazine with 5-7 darts for the most consistent firing experience. This causes the least amount of stress deformation on the darts. Firing a magazine with more darts than 7 leads to more common jams and can damage darts.3. You may believe that you could modify these issues easily. If you have the patients to do so it may be possible, but fixing a product should not be the customer's job. These are the attempts to fix the issues that I have had trouble with. Attempts to add additional length to the automatic piston can cause even more jams. The piston is timed very carefully to optimize firing in time with the strength of the spring. Adding additional length has lead it to being slow when retracting, getting caught by the next dart and resulting in damage in the dart and causing jams. Attempts to break into the magazine to replace the spring with a weaker one has ended in failure. It has also lead me to believe the designer's of the magazine are heavily inspired by Nokia phones. It is held together by 2 screws, and a series of interlocking locks that do not allowed the magazine to be opened without significant damage.Electrical SystemsThis may be considered picky however I find it disappointing. The majority of the system is powered by a rechargeable battery pack. This includes the laser, automatic piston, and flywheels. The parts that require different batteries are the scope and flashlight. I will not be talking about the scope, as it is absolutely and utterly useless and should be considered only cosmetic. The flashlight however, although is weak but completely practical in use in very dark environments. This leads to the question of if the laser can be battery powered why would they not hook up the flashlight to the system as well? This is my own personal opinion and I believe they can improve the product if it was completely self contained for its sleek design, otherwise remove the flashlight and add rails so I can add my own flashlight.Compatibility Issues1. Darts2. MagazineThis product has compatibility issues if you plan to expand your arsenal in any meaningful matter. This is quite the wonder of why they would not make this product compatible with other well known brands such as Nerf, X-shot, and Adventure Force. For ease of language I will refer to these brands as The Big 3.1. The Big 3 use a standard of 2 variations of darts: full length darts and half length darts. This allows for many of their blasters to scavenge for ammo when playing games. This product does not use either of those darts but instead this strange 3/4 length dart, too long to be a half length dart but not long enough to be a full one either. This means if you game with other foam dart blasters you will not be able to scavenge their ammo type, and can only look for your specific ammo type.2. The magazine used for this product is very different comparted to The Big 3. It is much wider, almost unnecessarily so for the thin dart is inhabits, however this does it make much more comfortable to hold. That also means you cannot use these magazines for other blasters you have. Not only is is thicker, but the top of the magazine is cut at an angle so you cannot use the magazines from other blasters.Other Things to note-If you want an automatic blaster there are better AND cheaper ones out there. I recommend the Adventure Force Tactical Strike. At the time of writing this review it is $40 at your local walmart using half length darts which perform better than full length darts with a magazine capacity of 12 darts! >:O Go switch it out for an x-shot magazine for 15. At the time of writing this review, there are no commonly accessible half length dart drum magazines, but I suspect they will come soon. Slap that on there and you got yourself a $40 monster.-Full auto sucks. It's cool, but there's a reason why even modern rifles have semi auto modes. It sucks for ammo economy, especially for a 10 round magazine. This product does not have a firing switch, and tapping the trigger to fire semi auto will result in firing 2 darts. Do the math, you have 5 precision shots. It is advertised as a "sniper." Compared to this product, many many many non-automatic blasters are simply better.-Unchangeable foldable stock. If it is uncomfortable for you, sucks to suck.-Modding is tedious. This thing has like 20 small screws. Though it wont change the integrity if you lose one, you will remember it.
