It's a RADIO FLYER - SO IMO, IT'S THE BEST!!
If it were bigger, I'd ride it! My grandson crawled over to it right-away on Christmas morning. At his age with a little help from me, he was up on it. He got that it bounced up and down from the start. It won't be long before he gets the hang of it's rocking ability too.The horse sounding music was clear as a bell - and fun to hear! If you don't wait long enough after he eats, the whole cover is removed easily for clean-up. I was really impressed with the quality of EVERYTHING on this horse! It is staying in the family for the next generation!

So much fun!
This was a Christmas present for my 18 month old son. He loves it! The horse is soft and is the perfect size for him. He gets on and bounces and rocks away- it is a lot of fun! It also makes noises which he gets a big kick out of. It doesn't take up too much space. I would recommend this rocking horse for kids around my sons age, he is the perfect age and size for this purchase.Pros:The horse is made of fabricIt bounces and rocksMakes noises if you want, you can also turn off the noise (which is nice!!)Doesn't take up a lot of spaceHelps my toddler use up his energy! :)Cons:Sometimes he rocks a little too big and it seems almost like he could tip it backward - to be fair this hasn't happened- I just worry about it when he really gets it going! He really has fun with this Soft Rock and Bounce Pony- it's so cute to see him on his first rocking horse. I would buy this again.

Sound not working....
This product was a challenge to assemble so that the pieces would hold tightly together. Once that was accomplished we discovered the sound would not work. Customer service sent us the replacement part.....only it was the wrong part. We received the correct part yesterday only to find that once again the music box does not work. I am very disappointed. That said, the horse is very cute. It was purchased as a gift for our twin grandsons upcoming 1st birthday.

Rocking horse
My Grand Daughter really likes it. It seems to be quality made as you would expect from a Radio Flyer product.Assembly was easy.It was however, missing a screw for one of the rockers. This was a special length screw, and had a smaller than standard size head. If I hadn't been a mechanic, with access to equipment to modify a standard screw, we would have had to wait for the manufacturer to send us one before she could have ridden it.It would have been disappointing for a 2 year old on her birthday.

Not the Radio Flyer you grew up with
Growing up Radio Flyer was a coveted brand in our neighborhood. If you had a wagon it had to be Radio Flyer and 30 some odd years I can see why, my parents still have mine from childhood in working condition. Unfortunately that is not the quality that this product delivers.Pros:- All parts were included as listed- Assembly was fairly straight forward- Son appears to enjoy itCons:- The tension bands that provide the "safe" bouncing pull on the two halves of the horse causing the seam underneath the horse to split. No amount of re-tightening of the screws was able to get it to re-seal.- Extremely small... while this is listed for children 1-3 years of age my son (13 months, 23 lbs, 31" long) is already borderline for this product.- Unstable. My son has not yet been able to flip his horse over as some other reviewers have experienced, but it is easy to see how this could occur. The rockers seem to be too short to provide a sturdy base for the product. This was our son's "big" Christmas gift this year and unfortunately we will have to send it back. $80+ dollars is too much to spend on a designed flawed product that began to fall apart before use. Even if it had assembled as it should have the size would've limited its life cycle to a couple of months before our son out grew it. If you are set on purchasing a rocking-horse I would suggest you look at other models.

Decline in Quality :(
We purchased this horse as a birthday gift when our daughter turned one. We had mixed feelings about the new design since we were familiar with the older version.First, the good:1. I do like that it has sound effects. We chose to get this horse for our daughter because she loves her sisters' full sized version, but she cannot safely ride it. The sound effects for the soft rock horse are the same as those for the Liberty Radio Flyer horse.2. The horse is easy for my one year old to dismount. She still hasn't figured out how to get her leg over to get on, but she gets off on her own.3. The horse is a big hit. Our daughter LOVES her new horse. Once we turned on the sound and sat her on it, she has not gotten off and shows no signs of tiring of it.The bad:1. The quality of this new version is much declined for the original version. The rails are hallowed out halves of the original design. The rocking rails of the original were one solid piece and the new design is three pieces on each side. The cross rails that connect the two rocking rails is now a metal bar as opposed to the thicker plastic of the previous model. Also, the most frustrating, the body of the new horse is not one solid piece. It is two shells that screw together. The two halves of our horse seemed to be screwed together as tight as can be without stripping the plastic. Unfortunately, when we strapped on the rubber bands that enable it to bounce, it pulled part of the back half apart. Try as he might, my husband could not get that gap to close. The horse cover does not cover the bottom. There are only straps that hold it in place. I don't like the idea that our daughter could pinch her finger in the gap.2. The new design does not come with a saddle seat for younger children. Our daughter is old enough to ride without it, but it is no longer a good option for younger children that might not be as reliable about holding on tight. If I had it to do over, I would find the older model on craigslist instead. I am very sad about the decline in quality. I expected more from such an old and popular brand like Radio Flyer. I am sorry we let ours go when our middle daughter outgrew it.
