I was a bit hesitant to order this - do I need more yarn?? But I'm so glad I did. It's beauuutiful. And so soft. And so nice to work with. And honestly? Worth it. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm going to have to buy another one of these things to complete the projects I now want to make with them - I have sooo many plans now!! Heaven help me, but I tend toward the larger blanket-sized projects, oh yes I do. But given how soft this is, these will someday be littler baby blankets.I've photographed a couple of representative skeins and the enclosed accessories to show you what you'll be working with once it's been fluffed up. They also sent a crochet hook, so it's good to know that you'll be using the correct size if you use that. I have also taken a picture of the absolute BRICK the yarn appears to be when your package first arrives. Cut the end of the bag, be patient, and let your yarn fluff up in the air for a couple of hours before diving in. One of my absolute happiest Amazon purchases.

If you’re looking for stitch definition here, I’m going to tell you right now to look elsewhere. I found myself stitching more on vibes than anything else. Luckily, this yarn just happens to be thick enough that, if I did make any mistakes, the yarn hides it completely.Because of this lack of stitch definition though, I did get the chance to frog this shell twice before I finally got the hang of feeling out the stitches. I expected a fuzzy shedding mess or bald spots on the strand after at least the second time, but nope! There is a tiny bit of shedding at the very end of the strand if you pick at it, but this yarn frogs absolutely beautifully. It is so durable and it performs better than comparable big name brand yarns of the same type. The color selection is lovely too, I feel like I’ll get a lot of use out of this pack.

This is very soft yarn. You do not get a lot of any one color, which sort of stinks, but I knew that when I purchased this yarn. This would be great for any small project. Many of the colors work really well together so you could make a little bit of a larger project by using multiple colors. Over all I am very happy with this yarn and will be purchasing more soon to make some projects.

Very soft, but does fray at the ends. I will pull off some and then tie the end threats and that stops the fraying. It does not fray in the middle.

I opened the package to find a variety of colors, all jumbled together. The yarn was vacuum packed and took a bit to fluff up after I opened it. I grabbed the red and black yarn to make a small blanket for my niece. The soft texture felt nice as I pulled it from the skein. I set my hooks down and measured the yarn against my fingers, deciding which size would work best.Crocheting was slow at first, but I got the hang of it. I tried a few stitches before figuring out the right pattern. After a while, my hands got tired. I took a break and looked at what I had made. It was a little uneven, but I didn’t mind. I thought about how my niece would like the bright colors.After a few days of working on it, I noticed the yarn didn’t tangle much, which was good. When I finished, I held up the blanket and was surprised it was bigger than I expected. I wrapped it up as a gift. The texture seemed to draw attention. I hoped it would keep her warm and she would enjoy it.

Love this yarn! To be fair I love all fluffy chenille yarn. I have to restrain myself from buying more every time I come across it, but this variety pack won that battle- I'll just tell my husband my finger slipped, I have no idea how I ended up with MORE yarn 🤷🏼‍♀️Anyway, this yarn is vibrant, soft, and hardly shreds. Like any chenille yarn (in my experience) it is difficult to correct mistakes, so save it for the projects you're more comfortable with. I honestly don't even know what I want to make with these but at least I have them for when I find the perfect pattern! I did make a pumpkin immediately because it's that time of year and the colors are perfect. the yarn worked up nicely and was so soft and pleasant to work with!!

I've worked with similar chenille before and know it's good. Very little shedding, durable, and super soft. No color transfer on any skeins after opening. These usually go for around $8 a little skein, so this is a great option for getting a bunch of colors. They are smaller skeins, you'll need a few of each color to make something beyond a small beanie. But I like the yarn and this is a fabulous all-inclusive set.
