These truly are fast rope gloves, during a 150 foot rappel gloves got a little warm yet not uncomfortable.

Great gloves! Almost eliminates friction heat completely
Great gloves! Almost eliminates friction heat completely!! Would have been 5 Stars, but the gloves that came in did not 100% match the gloves displayed/advertised at the time. At the time on Amazon, and currently on the HWI website, the gloves had a single covered palm/finger minus the index/trigger finger. The gloves I received did not have a solid covered palm, all finger were covered separately. However, the are still very good and I will buy them again when needed.

A Great general use glove!!
I bought these gloves two years ago, for a repelling and rock climbing school. I have used these gloves ever since. Not only for repelling and rock climbing but for heavy lifting, cleaning cars and car engines, to cleaning out rabbit pens. Overall I would say that these gloves have outlasted my expectations as repelling gloves and have moved on to general use gloves. Attached is a picture of the gloves. As you can see they still look as if they are brand new. The build quality is phenomenal. I would recommend these to anyone willing to buy.
