I finally found them!
After many years of searching I found exactly what I was looking for: comfort, ease of use, great sound, and great ANC. To be honest I am not an audiofile and I honestly never found earbuds that quite fit me and was satisfied with until now. So take that into consideration. Let me start. The Link buds are comfortable! So much so you may need to check from time to time they are still in your ear. The rubber horn on the end is hallow and is what keeps the bud in your ear. Once you wedge this horn correctly the link buds stay in your ear! I have never had ear buds that could stay in my ear like this. Not even Will Ferrell listening to "what is love" can knock these things out!The Link buds fit has great active noise canceling! I went to a carnival last night and the anc was amazing. I was able to clearly hear the music while a live band was playing, while standing next to the loud carnival rides, and hear the music clearly even in the crowds. No matter where I was at I could clearly hear the music. I even tested out audio books and yt. No issues hearing the words. I do have to mention i had to install the Sony sound connect app on my phone to get ANC to work.Audio quality when listening to music was clear and the bass was strong (another thing that can be adjusted in sound connect).Update: no issues listening to music or podcasts on a bus. Some negative points:The price. These earbuds are more exepnsive then majority of the competition but considering what the Link bud fit provides, I consider it completely worth it since they would be great for commuting, exercising, or just about anything. Not good if your with your family at the carnival when they are trying to talk to u. 😉.Not really a fan of how it pairs with devices, the button is on the case. That's it for now. I may update my review at a later date, good or bad. For now my first impression is that this is a definite buy!

loud uncomfortable popping sound when driving and windows down.
In my hunt for a good set of in ears, I alas returned these due to the popping sound was loud when riding in a vehicle. The did a good job for voice over phone calls, decent audio reproduction, but the noise cancelling was not up to snuff. But what the did excel at was twisting into my ear and staying put, which was wonderful, but with if you drive with your windows down it's a no go. But if you are in the yard, working out, mowing the lawn, working in a factory, where youare moving around a lot, these are hard to beat and out of the 6 pairs I tried, including ones up to 400, these stayed in the best.

linkbuds fit purple
These sound 9/10, great bass, clear highs. More than good enough for bassy music and action video games.Fit is 9/10, I'm an average sized dude and the rubber fins could be a bit bigger to really lock in, maybe they'll offer that in gen 2. But the rubber keeps them locked in for any activity, and still very comfortable thanks to very short nozzles.Touch controls are 4/10. Maybe because rubber covers the touch area, these almost never recognize finger taps. I have so many earbuds that this isn't a deal breaker, as I rarely rely on onboard controls anyway. Every earbud company likes to have their own convoluted control scheme, and they change the controls per every earbud, so why bother learning any of it? Ain't nobody got time for that.Battery life is average, with all sound enhancement turned off. 8-10 hours at around 75% volume.Price is kind of high tbh, but they're way better than any of my cheaper earbuds. After a few weeks, I like these a lot. Might even get an extra pair.

Tiny and light, but mediocre ANR and low volume levels
I now wish I hadn’t bought them. The ambient noise reduction (ANR) was minimal - I could still clearly hear the hum of my AC. And sound levels at full volume were too low. They’re small and minimal, fit well, have a long-lasting battery, and are moderately priced, but unfortunately not up to my standards in terms of sound quality and ANR. Instead, see my review of the excellent Bose QC Ultra earbuds, which I highly recommend.

Needs a physical button for a "fitness" earbud
I was extremely disappointed with these earbuds. As a long-time user of the WF-C500 / WF-C510's I thought these would be a nice upgrade and solve the one problem I had with those earbuds, that they would slip out of my ears when I was doing strenuous activity and sweaty. However, these LinkBuds are a pure exercise in frustration.I often rely on touch controls on the earbuds, like play/pause,Fast-forward,Rewind, as I'm often away from my phone when I'm using my earbuds. The touch controls on these earbuds were abysmal. The WC-510's have a physical button that registers every time I press them. On these, it almost never could pick up my "tapping" since there is no physical button, and forget ever trying to Fast forward or rewind through multiple songs. It will never pick up repeated "triple" taps. It seems to have a very long delay until it can accept a new tap input. I was constantly frustrated with these as I could never pause to hear people or skip songs. I always had to rip the earbud out of my ear to talk to anyone. Yes, I did try adjusting the sensitivity in the app, and it did not help in my situation.I would also like to mention that the "winglets", at least in my case, didn't help retain the earbuds any better. No matter what, eventually you will get sweaty, and the earbud will slip out of your ears if doing strenuous activity, and the winglets don't prevent this from happening.. For me, anyway, the earbuds slip out of my ear canal when sweaty and leaning slightly left or right, and the winglet resting above the ear canal does nothing to hold the earbuds in place. Ring-style earbuds that wrap around your ear do work; this design does not.I will say the sound quality was very good and an improvement over the wf-c510, but for me, function matters way more, and these are essentially non-functional due to the impossible to use "haptic" touch controls.
