Awesome stuff
The size of the tubes are really small, but you don’t need a lot. The glue is not very thick, but it works really really well. It dries quickly and I can’t even tell where I used it. It’s been a few months and my shoes have held up so I would say it’s pretty durable. I think it’s worth every penny to make shoes last longer.

Oh The Simple Things
I highly recommend this glue!I have fixed a couple of pairs of shoes that I hated to throw away!I am amazed at how good it works. I’m not a gentle walker, I’m kind of a hard stepping foot so this product blows my mind!

Gluing two parts of a sandal together didn't work but it was a very tough challenge
I have only just used this shoe glue to repair some very cheap but very liked plastic sandals. The plastic on one shoe has separated quite a bit, and I am hoping that this shoe glue will hold the pieces together so there will be no further separation. Please note that I not, say, gluing a sole to an upper. Instead, the front 1/3 of this cheap plastic sandal is starting to separate from the other 2/3 of the sandal. Eventually, the front 1/3 will just separate completely and I will have a sandal in two parts.I am trying to prevent this by gluing the two parts together. Why bother? I just like these sandals. They were cheap (yes!) but very comfortable. I would just the exact same pair of sandals if I could find them, but I can't.So how did it go?A few tips. Holding plastic together for a very long time is difficult. I suggest using clothespins or 2" clamps to do this.I held it by hand, not having clamps handy. There is one odd (but not bad) thing about the two tubes of shoe glue included in this purchase. The cap of each tube has a very narrow stiff wire on it. When you unscrew the cap from the tube, you end up with a cap with a skinny stiff wire sticking out of the cap. The trick is when you are done with the glue, you have to carefully line up the skinny wire with the skinny head of the tube, and re-insert this wire back into the tube. It is doable, but you have need good lighting and eyesight to line up the wire so it will re-insert back into the tube. The design of the tub and cap, however, makes a lot of sense. By re-inserting the wire back into the tube, this prevents air seeping into the tube and having all the glue dry up. So this is a *clever* design. It is, however, a design I haven't seen before, so it took me a while to figure out how it worked.Unfortunately, the glue did not even hold for 48 hours. The right sandal has fallen apart, and is even worse shape now. I just think that this shoe glue (and perhaps any shoe glue) is not powerful enough to bond my separating sandals back together again.I am not really sure how to rate this product, as yes, it failed, but maybe I was hoping for too much? Glue can't work for everything, and here the glue only had a limited amount of area to do its bonding, and there is a lot of stress on that area when one is walking. So this was a pretty tough "ask" of this glue.If you are just gluing one level of a shoe to another, you may have far better luck. While initially puzzling, I am now impressed by the design of the tube. It is far easier to deliver the glue to where you want it to go because of the wire that comes out of the tube. I have NEVER been able to accurately apply glue like this before. This is simply a much better design.I think I will up my rating to 4 stars. It is unfair to give it 3 stars because I was asking too much of this glue.Ironically, after this failed repair, I found this same sandal online and have ordered 2 new pairs!

Works amazing and leaves no marks
It worked amazingly. Glued the sole of my daughter's shoe back on and she has been wearing it for 2 months already, and still going strong.

Does not work
Did not work at all! I cleaned my shoe, dried it and then left it to air dry all night. Applied glue the next day, rubber band it together left it for several days. Went to wear my shoe yesterday and it came apart again in the first 5 steps. Didn’t even make it out of my house.

Didn't work for me
I think like most people I got this because the sole of the shoe was becoming separated from the part that you put your foot in, because every corporation are soulless monsters. I clamped it with clamps to hold it in place, let the glue dry for days, but it didn't hold. Soon as I wore it, within a few minutes the bottom of the shoe started flopping around again. Keeping it at 3 stars ins tead of 1 in case I did something wrong. Although if I did, then that's the product's fault because how do you get it wrong putting glue between 2 surfaces and holding them together tightly?

Effective, Well Made, and Well Priced Kit Does a Good Job on Sneakers
This kit was purchased to fix seriously delaminating soles on a pair of Chinese manufacture sneakers (as most major brands are), among other purposes. I've used E4000 and other "shoe glues" for this (successfully) before- but after trying it, I like this product better. There are a number reasons. This product comes in packaging that is perferc for the application. The top of these tubes of shoe glue open through a fine, about 1/2" long stainless steel capillary tube that can be used to accurately squeeze a controlled amount of the glue deep into spaces where the sole has separated, or begun to delaminate, without unnecessarily causing collateral damage and/or pulling things further apart. This product is less viscous than other shoe glues I have used (lower loading of of rubber in the plastic) which provides better penetration between partially separated layers as compared to the very thick, fast dryng usual shoe glues that are packaged in a standard wide-mouthed tube (and must be to extract these viscous products). Additionally, his shoe glue tube is sealed with a needle that is attached to its screw cap and pushed into the capillary when the cap is closed. This keeps the remaining product from drying out and gumming up the opening of the tube.I also particularly liked that this kit included useful and effective right-sized polyethylene spreaders that work well to spread/wet relatively large areas to be bonded, as well as good, useful rubber bands that don't break easily. One caveat- the usual shoe glues dry rapidly (so much so that it can be hard to reach and wet relatively inaccessible areas and voids), whereas this stuff is runnier and by comparison dries relatively slowly. Therefore it takes substantially longer for bonds with this product to reach a peak strength- the instructions advise allowing 24-48 hrs. for joints/bonded surfaces to strengthen while clamped. I first made the mistake of testing a repair after only a few hours- it was not strong enough yet. A 24 hr. repeat gave excellent results. On top of all this, the product is inexpensive compared to the alternative products mentioned.
