The package came at the right weight. The pellets smell suitably of sulfur and are about the size of a lentil. They've been in the ground a couple of months and are still visible. Hopefully that's a good sign that they won't dump all their effect in one go.

Easily applied due to the nice consistent size of the chips, they will help acid loving plants thrive and also help them absorb more nutrients from your soil and any food that you add, I used last year and saw some good results , great soil and compost addition for acid loving plants..

Exactly as expected-marvellous!

I bought the (separately listed) 2.5Kg pack from Elixir, but the package delivered was only (fairly precisely) 2.0Kg. My complaint produced an email, which seemed to suggest that they suspected their scales. This, for an error of 500g, 20% of the bought weight, seems preposterous - I think it far more likely that it was slovenly carelessness. After all, a trader is legally obliged to keep accurate scales.They also have sent me, by second class post, the missing 500g (fairly accurately weighed, allowing for the bag). They have fulfilled their legal obligation, but this seems niggardly compensation for the trouble they put me to, and for putting me at risk of losing 20% of what I had paid for, evaded only by my almost accidental check.The chips themselves seem fine. As sulphur acts slowly, having to react with other soil components, I have no proof that they work, but as a literally elementary product I have no reason to doubt that they will or recommend that you do not buy form these people. However, if you do, I suggest that you weigh the product before opening.
