Bifacial really does work - Achieved 125w from 120w panel!
I was seriously sceptical about the bifacial claims of these two sided PV modules, however after trying out this solar panel i have to say my scepticism was extremely short lived! I have never had a solar panel that achieves 100% yield, no matter what angle or placement i have never seen any one of my panels hit the rated PV mark. This panel however achieved in excess of it's 120w rated power straight out of the box! Even with an overcast sky i was getting a steady and consistent 125W output from this panel into my battery... i was truly sold! The panel is traditional in construction, aluminium frame and glass. It's not too heavy, therefore making it reasonable portable for me to move around the garden dependant on the suns position during the day. The bifacial element allows the back of the panel to receive reflected sunlight - the technology really does work! I am super happy with this panel and it will now be my go to to recharge my lifepo4 batteries.
