The grip was great. There were smalls holes on one shoe that were clearly an imperfection. I had to constantly clear that rocks that gathered in the inside of the shoes.

They're comfortable, I feel confident that I won't slip while wearing them in a stream, they have a good grip, but they do collect sand at the beach.

I wear a 6 is women and I ordered my size. These shoes were half a size too big. I used them for a long hike. They peeled my skin on the back of my ankle from rubbing together. I didn’t like the fit. They also didn’t drain and dry as fast as I expected them to. Also, I wouldn’t recommend these for slippery rocks, terrain, etc because they don’t have as much grip as they should. You have to be really careful how you step in these.I wouldn’t say that they are a complete fail though. If they are a perfect fit for you and you’re doing shallow stream crossings then they may work out.

These shoes held up perfectly for a tough Mudder. They had good grip during the obstacles. The inside sole did come out afterwards, but it’s not an issue when you’re wearing the shoe.
