It faces the wrong way
Noticed the symbol was the wrong way round

Looked brilliant in the end
Tried using normal fondent over and over, left it to dry, but still not great. So changed tactics and used lace founden/ gumpaste ..worked brilliantly

I so wanted it to work
I tried and tried (and tried) to make this mould work. The seller was great in sending through instructions on the best way to use the mould but as I've used similar moulds before this was what I'd already been doing. No matter what i did I just couldn't get the fondant back out in one piece - sadly the legs and/or beak just proved too delicate each time. The only thing i haven't tried is leaving the fondant to air-dry over several days but to be honest, realistically I just don't have time to do this in order to make this mould work.
