The Silencer Series Box Set Books 1-4

This box set contains a series of four stories that are suspenseful, entertaining, tense and thrilling all at once. Michael is a CIA agent who had been marked for elimination. He just wanted out. But the agents sent to kill him weren't as good at their jobs as he. Mike disappeared; no one could find him. But David Jones, an ex-NSA agent did, and they set up shop to thwart crimes against regular folks that law enforcement agencies couldn't or wouldn't touch. The series tracks many of them and also the development of personal relationship between Mike and Mia, a nurse who is a benefactor of one of Mike's early "rescues". The title is also the name given early on to Michael's character in the first book that just seems to happen more by chance than by plan.

The story line was good, but somebody needs to proof read before it's published. Having seen the POI tv show some things were very familiar. Still it was an enjoyable read.

It catches you right away. Nonstop action. You become invested in the characters. I can not wait to start the next set of books in the series.

Keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. Very well written. Very likable character

Too much of Person of Interest, including the mob bosses and a geeky 'professor' in glasses and the pet suggestion and the crime.I still read through so there's that

I really enjoyed the premises of these stories. The characters are interesting. My only complaint was that since it was stories in one collection there was alto of reposition on some of the story lines. Will definitely consider reading the next collection.

This is a Book that once you start reading you don't wanna put it down ! There is constant action without the w writer feeling he needs to describe every little thing . I highly recommend this book and author!!

Fast paced and good read. Enjoyed all four novels. This was my intro to Mike Ryan and I shall definitely look for his other creations.

The concept is quite good and the story is not too shabby. However, the grammar is decidedly modern. The writing is sometimes atrocious and the writer often uses expressions incorrectly which slightly detracts from a very decent concept. If that doesn't bother you, it's a decent enough read.

Loved the fast pace and realistic circumstances of the agent . This series lasers in on the conflicts within the intelligence community .

Would have read it in one go, but i can't read that much in one go.Great crime thriller, well developed stories and characters with a great general storyline.
