Sirui Red Portrait Lens 60mm with Clip, Constructed with German Schott Glass and Aluminum Housing, for Most Smartphones

I have tried out two of the three lenses in this unique kit, the telephoto, and the wide angle. Both worked well with my iphone, while using the Moment cell phone case to hold the lenses. These lenses fit the Moment case with no problems. This is a great way to expand the capabilities of your phone camera if you don't have a model with wide angle or telephoto capability. It really helps to use the Moment camera app, which is available on-line, because it has settings for each of these lenses to make the phone adjust to the lens you are using. The carry case is high quality, and has a carabiner clip to hold it to your belt.All this being said, I wound up returning this item because the weight and bulk of the carry case turned out to be greater than I anticipated. It is as large or larger than carrying a small digital camera, which has better picture quality and more capabilities than the cell phone camera, so I decided to simply carry a more capable camera instead of these lenses. For users that do not expect to use anything other than their cell phone camera, and have cell cameras without wide angle, telephoto, or macro capabilities, these lenses are a great way to enhance your photography.

I have never been a firts reviewer but felt I had to jump in on this excellent lense. I have shot using Nikon glass costing thousands of dollars and expect a higher level of quality from the gear I buy. This lens meets that standard.My first use impression is that it is well worth the $69 I paid. First, the lens has no edge distortion when shooting flat subjects. Lines are straight edge to edge. Second, like all macro lenses, I can get much closer to my subjects than with the Macro mode on my Moto G5s Plus camera. This means that I capture more detail in smaller subjects. Third, I couldn't find any color fringing/chromatic aberration. Fourth, contrast was excellent. The lense designers did their job well!Another nice feature of this lens is that it comes with a screw off light modifier which can be uesd to achieve softer or more even lighting. Speaking of lighting, as with macro photography in general, you will want to bring a small light, such as a flashlight along to side-light your subject because getting your phone within an inch of the subject will block much of the ambient light if you are in a situation where the lighting is dim to start with.The universal clip has a longer reach than other clip-on lenses I have tried giving me enough to ensure the lense is centered on my particular phone's camere. And yes, this does work with the Moto G5s Plus dual camera phone I have because it does not use the second lense in macro mode.The only minor thing you will need to be careful of is that it is fairly easy to rotate the lens from the clip-on adapter. I have no problem with this but I can see it coming loose if you toss the phone with the lense attached into a bag or pocket. It shouldn't come loose under normal use, though.I highly recommend this lense if you want to capture the highest quality macro images. I have tried the less expensive ones and this one greatly surpasses them in image quality. Remember, with lenses you get what you pay for!

I'm from the Philippines so getting the lens to me wasn't instant. I just used it for my Korea trip just 5 days ago. Shots were gorgeous I had it stuck on my iPhone and carrying it around as if it was my default package!There's a few moments where I stored it in a pouch in my bag, I'm not sure if that changes anything.It got broke on the last day, I was wondering why it wasn't clipping to my moment case, and figured the lock mechanism wasn't protruding enough, after a little more trial and error the lens fell off. I can still mount it but I have to push the lens itself to the case to be able to mount it properly. There were only 2 screws but three holes on the back.A little bit disappointed with the fast pleasure it gave me with phone photography, but the durability is kind of weak. Build feels really great and solid but I just may have gotten a bad item.P.S. if you look at the photo with the lens facing the camera, there's some paint chips at the back of screws which is... weird? Not sure if the screws will suddenly burst and break the lens but that one was disappointing.

A solid and fun lens for your phone, it's well built. The image quality is very nice, and does a good job straightening the wide angle distortion. It even gives a very modest low light boost because it's a wide angle. While I didn't think I'd notice it, it turned out to be a nice "extra". Very happy with image quality of photos and video.It does work with the supplied clip-on, but it's a bit twiddly and you can accidentally get some vignetting. Highly recommended to get something like the Moment phone case for iPhone, you can screw it in - no problems with vignetting - crystal clear images. I'm using the Moment case with the iPhone 7 Plus.CON: This lens partially blocks the on-board light of the iPhone 7 Plus, so that's a no-go. This is true both in photo and video mode.WARNING: If you're using a gimble stabilizer, the whole thing is a tad heavy with on the OSMO. The Zhiyun Smooth has stronger motors which can handle this lens better.

Warmer photo with lens cover. Dusk wide angle photo lens on iphone Xs. Purchased for on short notice real estate photography. I purchased 5 lenses for the iphoneXs; no changes were made to photo and no aps were used - just iphone camera ap. Not too bad. Took photos indoors and out and this lens had the least distortion. in light and shadows. HDR on phone was used. Be careful to position the lense with corners fully in the lense. Crop could fix but its better. I was surprised and the impressive clarity with a little bit of light compared to other lenses. The price of this lens was mid-priced in the group. Quality housing, lens clip and travel case. Overall with the polarized lens, good value.

I received the old version of this kit. However, there was a few problems with the lenses. Two of them had glue in places where it shouldn't have. The new kit has a better wide angle lens, a new CPL filter and includes one soft plastic cover for the wide angle lens. Also, the shape is different...( wavy shape metal protector)IF you get this kit make sure you are getting the new version of this kit. The Q.C. Stamp should be from July 2019 and up (if you have a 2018 stamp, you have the old version.)These lenses work with the “Moment” phone cases and use the same attachment mechanism. The good thing about these is that for the price of 2 Moment lenses you get 4 SIRUI lenses and 1 CPL filter and a case... (Moment lenses have a lifetime warranty, SIRUI is only 1 year BUT they have almost the same durability and user experience...)However, don’t let the “German Schott glass” fool you, the glass might be German made but the lenses are still manufactured in China from raw blanks by SIRUI... So, these are not German made optical lenses like Zeiss, who does actually make lenses specific for cameras...

Bought this at a heavy discount, not sure what's the difference between this and the supposedly newer version. The image quality is pretty good on my Pixel 4a. It comes with a rather big case with a carabiner, as well as a phone clip to attach the lens to just about any phone. However, there is no rear lens cap, which is a bummer. Despite being rather large, the case does not have enough space to put in the phone clip. You would need to look for a pouch of some sort to carry it around in.

Amazing lens for the price but I wish they had a case for my Samsung S9.
