VKIZA Walnut Plywood Sheets 10 Pack, 12x12x1/8 Inch, 3mm, Craft, Laser Cutting & Engraving, DIY Projects

I'm inclined to say this is actually basswood instead of the birch plywood some other places try to pass off as basswood. It laser cut as expected on my diode laser and took an etching well.As with a lot of wood products things can vary. Product states it's 1/8" thick, which is about 3.18~ mm and the batch I received is slightly thinner. Was not able to get a friction fit with 3 dimensional projects, still only a minimal complaint.

I've purchased from 3 or 4 different listings for 3mm ply. This is the flattest I have found so far and will be 100% purchasing again. It costs slightly more, I think about .10 a board, but it's worth it .

Cuts and engraves very nicely

Excellent cutting material. With the addition of linseed oil the color of the grain are beautiful. Definitely not recommended for laser engraving.

At first I was very happy with the product but in the middle of a pack of ten I found this. Its not the end of the world but I cant use this on a customers project. So I essentially paid for ten and got 9. Hope the other pack doesnt have any unusable ones.
